So gavis was the real reason why the community was shutting down. He made GM and SoulQueens believe that the power source was running out, but in truth it really was his meddling. +1 to all the gavis theory-holders
He also came to end the round table and take back his authority. He probably needs more power to do something, so he came back to get it from here. What does he need to do though? We know he’s outside the walls, and surely he knows more secrets than most, so it’s likely we may run into him when we hit the Outside-the-walls arc I believe we’re going to get. He still needs Bjorn/Hansoo, so he’s trying to stay in his favor and not reveal Hansoo's identity.
Also remember back in 289, before Gavis created the jewel, he could instantly tell Bjorn's essense levels and more. Now he can update his knowledge and see Bjorn's progression, if he didn’t already know.
Also funny how Lion will be immortalized in the hearts and minds of the round table members as someone of higher status than they even suspected, lol – “creator” of the round table, mwmber of the community from 20 years ago, possibly from another world, and respected even by auril gavis… if only they really knew

Also i had forgotten about 289 and Gavis being about to see levels and such, and tbh, it makes me wonder if its somehow connected to the PC that displays Bjorn’s stats. cause he Should have access to that as well, we saw the scene of him directly looking at the monitor on earth. So in theory, he shouldnt need the authority to see those things. so why does he need it? or was that a lie and a misdirect from just always having been able to know that info and making Bjorn think he couldnt know after
Maybe he could see the monitors for all the players, but not be able to pinpoint which one is which? I remember back then, Gavis was asking Bjorn to confirm whether he was a barbarian, and Bjorn skirted by the question with a facade. I had wondered at the time if Bjorn was obscured, and then through his actions in Raphdonia, Noark, and in the community, he because a person of interest to Gavis (as opposed to being a person of interest from the start). If so, Gavis would have had to confirm who Bjorn/Hansoo is, and that he was the only person to clear the real game. He’d been able to spy on Hansoo/Bjorn/Lion through various means to confirm who he is.With all confirmed now, Gavis has no need of the community, and shut it down to regain power and go back to his focus. That’s my thoughts on motive, but please feel free to poke holes in this theory

If I remember correctly, it was Wolf who mentioned it, who could have been fed fake info by Auril knowing this moment was coming. Bjorn has inferred this chapter yet again how deceitful Auril can be so I would be very disappointed if next chapter he doesn’t make sure he indeed can do what he promises (not only going to Earth himself but sending someone as well).
it has not been confirmed no, its been implied multiple times, and we DO have a scene of what seems to be an Auril gavis on earth with Bjorn’s PC in the very early chapters, but we dont know if its limited to just Gavis, if that gavis was another version of Auril Gavis on earth in contact with this Gavis which i think may be the case, or something else. But no, we dont have actual confirmation, just implications. I think its probably true tbh, that Gavis could send someone back, since he brought them here, and just truly doesnt care enough to send most people back, but i mean, it could be possible that, on some whim, a moment of randomness, he could just decide he wants to fuck with the people who dont win, and send the winner off elsewhere, though whether the place Gavis sends them is truly their original home, who knows.

No, the jewel was a part of his authority, but he retained the remaining part of his authority that he didnt give to GM. The weakening of the community's power source was independent of the truth jewel.
blue and I discussed this concept in past chapters, and we had the idea that they were potentially being stored deep in the Labyrinth somewhere as one idea, in a pocket dimension of Gavis’ control somewhere, or possibly also beyond the walls in some secret location that gavis has.
Oh. New idea just formed. I already had the idea that i shared a few chapters back about there being more than one Auril Gavis, cause multiverse, and them somehow being in contact for some unknown goal, and using that to take people from other worlds, and since we do know there is a multiverse, since earth and Raphdonia are different dimensions. But, what if the cost of the transfer was the body of the person transferred. So thats why their body vanishes from earth. And thus, to return to your “original” world, you wouldnt have a body there, so either Gavis would need a means to recreate it there. Or he sends you to a similar but technically different dimension where a parallel earth is, and replaces the you that was there, with the soul of the You that was in Raphdonia, in a similar manner to evil spirits. So youre “returned” in a sense, but youre also not truly back.

Yeah he had a pretty crappy life on earth tbh, working for a black company, and his traumatic upbringing with his fam, and whatever happened with his ex. Raphdonia, even with its death toll and hardships is like a place of endearment for HansooYour theory is one hell of an idea though. It’s giving me Brand New Day type of vibes, where everything is the same but different. Imagine this Hansoo works at a nice company, his fam is actually nice, hes still with Hyun-Byeol, and life is good… man that would be crazy.
