  1. This is getting into some convoluted timey wimey crap. With the record stone that literally could be Bjorn and frankly the chances are high that it will be at some point. It's like chekhovโ€™s gun, the author went through the trouble of giving the characters the ability to go back in time, might as well keep using it to feed exposition right?

If he seriously goes back in time and the witch falls in love with him too I'm out of here

  2. So they confirmed one of the Witch's powers was that she can control monsters – the forsaken ones, the ones who still have โ€œfaithโ€, or have lesser souls. What is this faith in, and to whom?

Also what led to her having this fortune, aside from past Hamsiki giving her the drink?

    Curiouser and curiouser

    1. Could it be those that lose faith in the gods? Therefore they โ€œworshipโ€ the witch.

  3. Do you guys think the village chief is actually playing as his own character?

I mean, we know he was a companion of the great sage..

  4. Bjorn is the only person being called by his name does this mean that he travels through time and becomes apart of history?

    1. I donโ€™t think soโ€ฆ this rift seems to be based on history, but doesnโ€™t to be the history as it unfolded, seeing as how Bjorn went off the charted path and then defeated past Hamsiki when they were only meant to prove their strength. Seems like in a game where theresโ€™s desired checkpoints, but limited freedom between those

      2. Doesn't explain why he's the only one called by his name. It would explain why he's treated differently in the dungeon too if he did indeed go back and babysat the witch. Might have even known the vampire Duke before he turned.

        1. He might not be the only one – weโ€™re just getting his perspective, but perhaps the other 3 might be called by name too? Weโ€™ll soon see

  5. So if theyโ€™re in the past scenario why is his name Bjorn?

    1. Perhaps he's going to be sent back to experience the actual history by a record fragment later?

    2. the scenario is just telling a story, itโ€™s just inserted the players into the certain roles(characters) the story focuses around

    2. Theyโ€™re in a rift which has them follow a story and assigned roles for each of the 5. Bjorn was assigned the role of the mercenary/guardian, and erwin was assigned the role of the little girl/earth witch. We donโ€™t know the othersโ€™ roles just yet, likely next week since we just seen the Village chief and the mage. They likely need to accomplish a set goal in the story, similar to Assassins Creed, if youโ€™ve ever played it
