  2. damn this is really bad i donโ€™t think someone important to the mc already got converted but if a lot of the other guys did, clearing the floor will become waay more difficult taking in account that there wonโ€™t be any reinforcement coming from the city anymore

    3. It is one of the greatest pleasures in reading honestly and with a โ€œsmallโ€ community that invested in the history the theories bring my bean sized brain a lot of joy.

  4. Itโ€™s really a good thing Bjorn brought Hamsiki along. He also got a witness and a guide. Plus just in time to save Raven from becoming magic stoneโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ™

What if some members of the expedition have already been converted to magic stonesโ€ฆ? Hopefully we havenโ€™t lost anyone ๐Ÿ˜•

Actuallyโ€ฆ do the magic stones retain any internal properties of what/who they were converted from? Weโ€™ve seen magic stones of different flavors and qualitiesโ€ฆ maybe the properties of what they were converted from remain? And if soโ€ฆ maybe they could be converted back?

Alsoโ€ฆ if humans can also be converted to stonesโ€ฆ maybe we may need to alter our working theories of how the races were created. Maybe some humans were also created along with the other races – not all of them, probably not anyone from the royal family – waitโ€ฆ what if only the royal family is not created and thats why the labyrinth portal requires someone of royal blood to be able to open itโ€ฆ? I feel like iโ€™m reaching but that thereโ€™s some treasure deep in that

Lastly, this drone-filled temple screams โ€œdev zoneโ€, with the factory-like setup, automated drones, and conversion rays on conveyor belts. This is some crazy ancient automated alchemy going on here

    1. if they can be converted back, could that be a primary function of this floor? Collect monsters from the upper floors, convert them back to magic stones via the rainy season and the drop, the Ocean, which we know is NOT full of magic stones and is also silver, not normal water, could be collecting the stones and sending them either here, or somewhere else, to later reconstitute the monsters and resummon them, but then what about the stones that the Adventurers take out of the Labyrinth? There must be a method to Produce new stones also, not just convert old ones, or there would inevitably be a shortage that causes there to be no monsters eventually. Though, this being a factory DOES imply the potential to be creating new stones, and if humans can be turned into a Stone, then can the Dopplers also be converted into mana stones, Maybe the Dopplers, which can be created, are turned into base Doppler magic stones, and then, through some process or another, have their information overwritten, and changed into the stones of other monsters to be reconstituted later in the Management process. That could explain why the humans are being caught this way too, if this process just looks at the Dopplers as Raw Material, maybe it sensed the Humans/other races and is doing the same to them? Since no matter what, even if magic stones cant be remade into the original form that they held and can only be used as fuel to create a new monster', there still MUST be some form of monster production, and if this IS a factory, and there are places that make the Dopplers already, plus a machine that converts monsters to magic stones, it logically tracks that the Dopplers could be the base materials for the rest of the others in the production process

      1. and we know that Mr. Vampire mentioned that monsters like Orcs, Goblins, etc, were intelligent in the Empire, but here in the Labyrinth, they arent, they are more like animals, and if all the monsters are being mass produced in this factory line, made from the mana and mass of the Dopplers, which, while intelligent, clearly have a limit on what they can figure out, and that seemingly is in line with the level of intelligence that the other monsters are displaying, the Dopplers worked together but had no language, just like the monsters we normally are shown in the Labyrinth. We ALSO know that some humans have found their way down here before via Dimensional Collapse, and we ALSO dont know what happened to human bodies after the Labyrinth closed, Could there have been humans who were Brought HERE after the Collapse, or whose Bodies were brought here(obviously not all the bodies are, given the pile we saw at the village), and then some of those bodies potentially used as materials for monsters? and if the materials affect the created monsters, if a Living human is used as part of the base of a Monster as this theory suggests happens to the Dopplers, then could there be monsters created with the same level of awareness as Humans, like what happened with the Village and the Monster Villagers? Their existence was never fully explained, and neither was the Chiefs. What if those monsters were the result of Past Humans/members of the various races, who were brought down to this factory via the Collapse, used as materials, and then the result was shunted off to the Village, where the Chief took them in over time and eventually killed them all as we saw

        1. Hm.. the village chief did say he taught his monsters ancient language, and how to live as they did. We also didnt see the version of that island before his transformation. I wonder if the village chief became a monster due to some magic factory reconstitutionโ€ฆ gosh again, hope that doesnโ€™t happen to anyone on the team.To your other points, I recall it being dropped rather nonchalantly some time ago (forget which chap/arc) that explorers are the fuel for the labyrinth. Considering that every month there are deaths in the labyrinth, if the bodies are not distorted with magic and taken out, they get absorbed by the labyrinth. I figure they get cycled to the basement and if not destroyed or abducted there, get absorbed. Possibly similar for dimensional collapses or those trapped in rifts when the labyrinth closes, but those guys likely get transported alive. Maybe they could end up as materials for the factory, orโ€ฆ now that this basement is open, perhaps this could even be a chance for escape if they survive until the next exploration opening (or escape via village chiefโ€™s island)โ€ฆ or reconstituted as a monster implanted with โ€œthe desireโ€ and ready to be shipped for the next exploration openingโ€ฆ

          1. to clarify, i dont think a monster made with a person would retain memories, more just the ceiling for their learning potential is similar to a normal personโ€™s, rather than a monster like the dopplers, its like the overall potential of their mind is raised by the inclusion of a person is my thinking, also for sure majority of the bodies would have been used as Fuel like you mentioned, i more just mean that maybe once every couple collapses, a person ends up at the factory, or a body does, like how they did here with the Chief, cause if they can end up where the Chief can find them, they can end up where the robots can find them too is my thinking

    2. WAIT. If they CAN be converted back, can 2 magic stones be reconstituted into 1 monster??? Is that how the Hybrids happen???? Like if one can be reconstituted, and 2 are instead placed into whatever process does that, Could they fuse and create a Hybrid monster???

      1. Maybeโ€ฆ I mean weโ€™ve only seen this one side of the factory, since there are 7 doorsโ€ฆ iโ€™ assuming thereโ€™s more areas where other things happen? Or maybe even some operating staff managing the controlsโ€ฆ?

        1. if there are staff, i wonder if they will be robot staff, or entities similar to Hamsiki, hell, maybe they could KNOW Hamsiki, he said he vaugely remembers this place and directed Bjorn, so theres something going on here, if there are any Staff and they have memories, they may see Hamsiki and get something triggered. And if its a Robot administrator, maybe hamsiki will have Admin access cause of who he is and can help in that way too, plus im 95% sure that the metal card that they found is some kind of Keycard to open something

          1. Yeah, the keycard is prob some admin access to somewhere important. If anything staff woukd likely be robotic, seeing the amount of time that has passed, or a monster, but imagine if it was a human-like person?Oo! The new chap is out!

  5. God Dayum! I am balls deep in this lore dump right now. So looks like crown was for this place then right? Protection from that mind control light. It affected humans so it's better than the kingโ€™s power it looks like.

    1. Iโ€™m actually thinking the stone that Bjorn found in the test tube (that purged the malignant gene) is what protected Bjorn.Tbh, I think Bjorn might have triggered this event when he smashed the tube and touched the stone. Maybe there was some sort of failsafe tied back to the temple after the lab was trashedโ€ฆThat or it was a timed event after being on rainbow island for a period of time, but the stone protected Bjorn so he is able to move freely

    1. I think this confirms that each island is supposed to be/have an archive. Weโ€™ve been to the 1st, 3rd, and now 7th Archives

      1. also there being 7 slots and one of the golden books fitting in tells us that there should be likely 7 golden books, and 7 archives, and if we assume that each Archive then has, A Record to be Fulfilled, a Golden Book to be Found, and then the actual Archive Trial to be done. all of which seem to have slightly different benefits from completing, with the Records seemingly granting Access to other areas on completion, the Books allowing for something to be accessed or completed here in this 7th archive, and then the actual Trial rewards, which have always been immense and game changing. If there are 7 Records to be fulfilled also, and each of them, at least according to current theory, grants an increase in the degree of Record Access Privilege, maybe that Access is needed here in this 7th Archive, Bjorn already found this one area that relied on the 1st degree of Access, and if this is truly the Last Archive, and all the Records, Books, and trials Culminate here, then Bjorn likely CANT even finish this area, cause he doesnt have the rest of the Access that he may need. Meaning, what Bjorn Should do here, is once he has rescued the team, whether thatโ€™s his Clan only or majority of the expedition, he should try and find the method to leave. This is clearly an area he is not ready for. All signs point to this being a place you go when the rest of the islands are complete, which honestly i was thinking may be the case back when they were trying to gain access, the Wall of water and surviving the entire rainy season felt like a condition for a major end game aspect of this specific floor
