Btw, this Viscount was very “John Snow, I know nothing” but he seems crafty to me. I feel like all this info is going to go right back to the Royal family as a report. I mean, it was revealed that Bjorn has marriage prospects within the head families of 3 other races (in their eyes, he could marry all 3 and join 4 of the races together), and that he has the stature to put all the other racial heads in their place. That, on top of taking in the former Bifron residents, is too much power for one man. I feel like if the Viscount reports this, the royals might see Bjorn as a threat, and scheme something.
At some point the royal are going to make him a marquis, he has way too much land and vessels, he going to join hands with the dragon tribe since they the strongest tribe following the faires and beast tribes
honestly, if you look at it in another Light, They can see how influential Bjorn is, and they know he is changing the game every day, and making impacts greater than ever, and as much as these people ARE advocating for their own family somehow, they are doing so to make a connection with Bjorn, and build alliances. Which does indicate that there is overall Support for Bjorn and his ideals that are public. Which is a good thing. Also, the comments from the Dwarves make me suspect that the genesis relic being made by them from the blood and lives of others May have been done at the command of the royal family. Their Tribal leader seems to have High loyalty for the Royals. And if they are that loyal, that means the Royals approved the sacrifice of their own people(not a surprise with what we know), in order to attempt to create a new genesis relic. Why do the royals need those relics then? and to what ends are they potentially willing to go to create it? Could the events in bifron have potentially been part of a planned sacrifice of the residents to help facilitate the creation of the Dwarven Blood Relic? and Bjorn possibly stopping that specific aspect of the plan unknowingly?
100% – half of me is really proud of him… the other half realizes that while he feels all of these things, Bjorn/hansoo is a clever guy, and this is an elaborate Lion tactic of misdirection away from the original topic of marriage… and it failed. Royally 😅
Actually, i think we learned something here. He obviously doesn't like talking about marriage or thinking about it but notice what actually set him off here. He got pissed when they told him who he couldn't marry. That's when they crossed the line. That means be likely already considers them “his” in a primal way but he does love them.
