I feel like the people saying he's going to come out as gay don't remember that homosexuality is punished with death in this world. It was stated in the round table meeting way back when the discussed the head of the leatlas church 2nd paladin division had a woman lover and that it could be used against her. My personal guess is that he's just going to use the barbarian duty excuse of taking several women. That or the king is going to appear in person and show interest in the fact that he can't be controlled like the other chiefs.
