  2. I did not expect that. I gues. Stealth approach failed. This might not be a โ€œquick adventure in and outโ€ after all x)

  3. Afaik this is unrelated to the current chapter (haven't read yet):

But, I wonder what happened regarding Bjorn's previous playthroughs? It's been around 155 years since he last was here, at this point, but there are elves, dwarves, and dragons which are (at least traditionally) long-lived races.

Are any of the previous characters still alive? Does anyone know of them in the world, even as historic entities?

And, assuming Bjorn were to meet a living character – what would that entail? Is any player character (pre-transition to being truly in-world) considered an Evil Spirit? Pretty early on, it was established that the entirety of gameplay occurred in the Labyrinth. There was no city to explore. So, were the player characters Evil Spirits only when used as an avatar? What did other NPCs think of them in-universe, both in and out of the Labyrinth? Were they even aware – both the player character and the NPCs – that the character was being used as a medium?

I could go on, but this had been nagging at me for a solid 300 chapters.

    1. bro what your thinking does not exist none of bjorns characters are actually in the world you have to think of the game as nothing more than a training space for evil spirits but when they finally complete it that take over a random body of the race they used in the game also none of bjorns other characters would be alive even in the game since he had to restart everytime he died and only cleared the game as a barbarian

      1. We don't have confirmation that the gameplay doesn't translate to the โ€œreal worldโ€ of Raphdonia, though. In-universe, there have been Evil Spirits since before Bjorn ever started playing the game, at least as I understand it.

        1. evil spirits as a concept didnt exist 200 years ago in world, this is canon and was told to us long ago, meaning that for the time that the game itself is set in, there were No evil spirits, and they didnt even exist as a concept, and for those spirits, the main thing that makes thing stand out is that they ALWAYS possess the body at the age of 20, no older, no younger, which weโ€™ve theorized is a very much created phenomenon. as there is no other way to explain it being so exact, and so suddenly starting, other than someone doing something to cause this effect. We also know that spirits from other worlds exist, but almost nothing about them in general. We can assume their method of crossing over may differ from Earthโ€™s, depending on the technology level of their home world. They could have a game like earth did, or they could have had some other means like a book or some such. There has never been any sign that what Bjorn did in game affected the real world he is in now, as if they DID affect it, then given its a looping game, and events in game can be repeated run to run, all the exclusive drops and items that are 1 time loot only that Bjorn knows about should be gone if his actions in game affected this reality. Thus, this implies that the game is seperate from this reality, and only based on it. And while we dont have a direct line stating as such, the events so far clearly seem to indicate a disconnect between the game world and this reality Bjorn finds himself in.If any characters were alive in the game and are still alive now, then it would be specific people that Gavis, as the creator of the game, would know and want to be present, like the King, or maybe specific members of the Elven race. But as of now, Bjorn has never mentioned any NPCs from the game by name, so i doubt it would suddenly become a plot point

    2. Actually there was a city outside the labyrinth in the game. Bjorn had many divergent playthroughs where he tried to partner with the precursor to noark, or battle the royal faction (with the 5th floor lordโ€™s essence), or get in good with the other races. I donโ€™t know about known characters though – aside from the king, not sure who else would live that long tbh

  4. we finally get to see lee baek hos party these are all of them if you remember or not 1. the rune mage 2. the immortal sage that is my guess 3. the door keeper of noark which is kinda insane 4. the spy he sent inside the round table these are my guesses for his party but even with just lee baek ho i dont think anyones walking away from that fight besides bjorn

    1. I think the only mages are the ruin scholar and the screaming witch (the spy). Then thereโ€™s Baek Ho, Lex/Rex Aures (likely the new friend Baek Ho was talking about), and one moreโ€ฆ likely a scout or ranged dealer. Could be the Lighthouse Keeper too

      1. The lighthouse keeper is dead ? Bjorn smashed his head in. And the immortal sage is 99% Auril gavis. And i have a hard time thinking that he, would join Baeks Hoโ€™s team. So it will be that goddamn OP mage the doom scholar who killed Daria and Lex Aures as tank. And ofcourse our edgelord himself who turned Emo after being betrayed by his teammates. Lee Baek Ho

        1. you could be right but i always thought that the immortal sage was a completely different character and you have to remember lee baek ho invaded noark but the tank was the gate keeper and he lived so it gives you a pretty good idea of how strong he is also the light house keeper is 100% dead thats why i thought it was the immortal sage and hes some type of support character that they found along the way and i dont believe that butterfly mask is the witch that bjorn fought when he killed the light house keeper but is the one lady who was talking to evil eye who he does not like

        2. i still have my theory that Gavis is in the body of the immortal sage and is an evil spirit himself. and that rather than showing up in the immortal sageโ€™s body at the age of 20 like the rest of the spirits, Gavis was put into the body of the immortal sage later in their life, after the sage has done much of what he is famous for. At which point, gavis begins learning of this world, the rules, and eventually creates the current evil spirit system, that causes people to enter the body of 20 year olds and no time else. Cause gavis wants people to go in the labyrinth, and by creating the circumstances of the evil spirits, they are incentivized to not join and mesh with the rest of the world and instead are pushed to the labyrinth.and 200 years ago, there wasnt spirits, and given they are not in the game either, which was made by gavis, implies that He did something to change the rules and how transmigration seemed to work. As we technically dont have confirmation that before 200 years ago there was any transmigration happening, and if the time of transmigration was random before 200 years ago, and potentially much less common as right now the number of occurrences of transmigration are driven by the game existing, so before the game or other means existed for other world evil spirits, then maybe transmigration was only once every dozen years or longer or was randomized, or hell, even potentially driven by the gods before this time, and into random aged bodies, or even into babies or an older person, we dont know, but if so, Gavis could easily have shown up at any time in the history of the immortal sage, or even time traveled with the record fragments once he took the immortal sageโ€™s body.Edit: gavis taking the Sageโ€™s body could also be part of why there was the mention by the Original Saintred, before the chief took over him, that the Sage and his party committed a betrayal generations ago, and while in part that was implied to have been said to trick Bjorn, Bjorn had minimal idea at that time about the Chief, the Sage or this so called Betrayal, meaning why mention it if there isnโ€™t some grain of truth hidden within. If the Sageโ€™s body was taken over by Gavis later in life, after the sage was famous and well known, then his โ€œbetrayalโ€ could have been gavis, rather than the Sage himself, but being in the body of the Sage, the outside world viewed it as betrayl, As the concept of Evil spirits did not exist at that time. The sageโ€™s original name is Gavrillius as well, (idk if i spelled that correct) but its similar to Gavis, not the same of course, but if Gavis came over, took the Sageโ€™s body, and was then deemed to have betrayed those the Sage was allied with, that could be what Prompted Gavis to change names, and simplified the original name of the body to Gavis, with Aurel possibly coming from his original name in his original world, or some other origina

          1. Iโ€™m still super curious about gavisโ€™ true purposeโ€ฆ we know he wants players to reach the 10 floor and open the gates, but for what reason? Its likely tied to the core plot of this story, so we may not learn it til near the final arcs, but itโ€™s still something that iโ€™m really interested in figuring out

        3. Sorry, I meant the guy Bjorn faced on the wall when trying to leave District 7. Though I realize I might be wrong about him and the screaming witch. Theyโ€™re likely in Bifron. So I take it back – we know 3 members of the party, with 2 others unknown. One is likely a scout or archer type, and the other one is like some sort of priest or an additional dealer. Baek Ho being as calculated as he is would want a well rounded team

    2. Donโ€™t underestimate Bjorn at this moment. As he himself claimed not long ago and i quote him โ€ i donโ€™t think i will lose to anyoneโ€ Bjorn is a beast, not even Baek Ho can take him down without a big struggle. And you have Tersia and Amelia. If they fight, both side loses. And noone wants that

      1. if lee baek ho is walking around with the ruin scholar i just dont think bjorn party stands any chance with the people he currently has since we only seen one other mage on his level which would be auril gavis and when bjorn is talking he is talking about a 1on1 but if lee baek ho just ignores him the rest of his party is for sure dying because there are not nearly as durable lee baek ho has a fuck ton of items that we dont know about and is either a level 11 or 10 character plus he is even a special version of his race we dont know what the fuck he can do besides 2 essences we heard he had that he could of easily switched out and if you remember ruin scholar can penetrate magic resist thats how he directly fucked up lee baek ho after lee baek ho punched his teeth out of his mouth

      2. Baekho kinda does want that and that's the spooky thing about him.He definitely would take 2 team annihilations if he and bjorn are the only survivors at the end. He is rocking that assassin mage build too so it's definitely a plausible avenue for him to go down. Author could resolve the romance ark by having baekho kill all his romantic partners. In this particular encounter tho, I think baekho's team have the upper hand, numbers and versil is kinda mid isn't she?
