Theory: Havelion and Bjorn wind up going back in time and get split up or something. Bjorn goes on to become Balkan and make a name for himself again, and Havelion becomes Gavis, looking for a particular shield barbarian.
Interesting, so the grey does petrifyโฆ itโs just a super slow burn. What if the world was destroyed not due to the Witch, but due to some forbidden magic performed by humans that drained the life from the world, and the city is the last refuge before the grey takes over?
Or what if the city is a true refuge that periodically pushes back the gray? And thereโs some magic/items/resource that can trigger this process? Thereโs something here tied to the labyrinth, and tied to the fabrication of races, that warranted the falsification of history, but I canโt see enough of the dots to connect them just yet.
Theory: the royal family is gathering magic crystals and resources to abandon this world. They donโt know how to reverse the greyscale and are packing โtheirโ shit and running
Oo thatโs a really interesting theory. It could explain their hoarding, and the recent commission of the dwarves to generate a new genesis relic. Maybe the relics are some of the keys to teleporting out of this world and the royals only have intention to save themselves, the church, and the mage tower (because theyโd certainly be in cahoots with them). Weโve seen it before, with the way they save themselves in the past (war on noark, noark labyrinth invasion, basement exploration).Only thing is that that would be a hella lot of people to transport. ๐ค
that was a soothing chapter compared to the usual ones. Reminded me of Dwalki seeing that phenomenon in the sky for the first time.

Probably not true, but a fun thought.
