I don't buy it. It could neither be the โoriginalโ Earth (because there no other 10k people missing lock inside their room) nor a dream (because there some details he or the โEarthโ witch shouldn't have known).
Imo it could only be another world, an Earth connected to the others (like different fate from the same starting point) where only he went missing, where his mother were full of concern and the others players were only playersโฆ
Anyway it is said that the Earth witch reside where every desire convergeโฆ and it doesn't seems to be this place
I agree with the speculation this is a die to escape reality.
I think it's meaningful no one asked the others how they got out of the dream, prevents the spoilering that the speedrun strat is jumping out the window and landing on your head.
As for the world we're in, it might still be reality. I'd want a second opinion from someone I know should be missing, my old army friend baekho. If he shows up then I have a second touch point for this been an unreality.
This is still a dream, we know it is because the missing person cases of Dungeon and Stone have been briefly mentioned and no one has ever shown back up again.
ok so you guys were right its an actual dream . cause it would be really weird if the witch could make copies of dead players in the real world . and it also makes sense about his mother . in here she seems to feel actually remorse . i thought that it was a play for taking charge of his money but no it is real , which is a 180 from what we know about her thanks to the ex . i wonder what he needs to do for escaping
I was thinking thereโs also a possibility that players who die in Raphdonia lose their memory of being an evil spirit and go back to their lives as normal, but Hansoo remembers because he didnโt die there. If thatโs true, then it would explain why in the real world, the Canadian wouldn't have a recollection of his time there
I think the entire point of this arc is going to be for Bjorn to fully commit to Bjorn. Ultimately, I think it doesn't matter if this place is real or not. He's going to choose to go back regardless of it being true reality or not. He's supposed to accept that Hansoo is just dead and he was reborn as Bjorn. No more hesitation or confusion. Hopefully, this is the ending for Hansooโs story, and the only character development left to work on is Bjornโs.
So prediction time. The witch transferred him to a dream world where the Canadian still lives as does all the dead evil spirits that died in the game world.
When she said donโt come back, itโs likely in reference to him waking up from this dream world she created to house those that are wronged by Auril Gavis.
In order to gain back his life as Bjorn, hansoo needs to start by getting access to the dungeon and stone game via a computer in this dream world, beating said game again and being transferred back into the game via the portal that would open when he beats the game.
Based on the fact that he went missing and the Canadian didnโt shows us he in a false reality. This can be confirmed by writing letters to other formerly dead evil spirits that died during the ice rock event.
Also kinda funny to think that the one place he never wanted to return back too was where the witch sent him.
It could be a type of dungeon for the souls of the dead players to rest. The only problem is how it maps to actual reality. Why bother? That doesn't make sense. Why would the witch keep up with current affairs on earth if she's just going to create a โdreamโ for them to live in anyway. This is messy. It makes more sense if it's just earth and they get sent there when they die, but that has other problems too. Those that did die were gone for a while anyway, and the cops would have known that. There'd be a bunch of missing people that come back with amnesia. Either option doesn't really make sense and leaves plot holes.
I get the feeling thereโs something more going onโฆ something more than this being real vs. a dream. Donโt have a good reason just yet other than gut feeling, but the fact that the Canadian exists and validates the info but doesnt recall being an evil spirit in Raphdonia, plus the reactions of his mom, and his revelation that heโs being treated as he would in the normal world if he acted the way. Compound that with the Witch's message and this does feel rather unprecedented. However, it could be that those who die in Raphdonia come back to Earth, but lose all memory of their time there, and Hansoo retains his memory because he hasnโt actually died?Or maybe itโs that this would have been a dream, but maybe because of the Earth Witch's interference, itโs a reality too. We know that itโs the soul that transfers across the dimensions (although it doesnโt explain what happened to Hansoo's body when he was in Raphdoniaโฆ more on that later) so maybe Bjorn's body is still underwater, and this is an opportunity for him to live properly on Earth, or go back to claim Bjorn's bodyโฆ We'll see as the story evolves.
I'm not 100% sure but shouldn't he have equipped his flower crown thing, it was complete immunity to mental stuff, sounds like it would've been perfect for this area
Do evil spirits return to earth after dying? Sounds too nice for Auril Gavis

Ok the fact that the Canadian is alive and didn't disappear means this isn't the true Earth, but rather an incredibly advanced simulacrum. Wow
This is still a dream, we know it is because the missing person cases of Dungeon and Stone have been briefly mentioned and no one has ever shown back up again.
Maybe the fact that noone tried to kill him is foreshadowing and he actually needs to die to return.

This is a cruel, cruel dream :l
Hope it doesnโt end before some 1000 chapters moreโฆ.

Cool to see the throw back to the Canadian player that left him a letter to write from the early evil spirit chat room.
