I read all the comments on this chapter and my opinion is that Witch didnt send him to wrong world. Bjorn before going through Abyss Gate didnt even know there was a cheat version of game he only knew after hearing it in chatroom so I belive he got sent to right world and time. The only contradiction to this theory is that there were cases of other people disappearing across countries. I also think there is second Bjorn from world that used cheat version and that in that world he used cheat version and got there 20 years before, his prob the Vulkan and the guy that got all the relics, I mean there is that person who stole his nickname as elfnuna and author still didnt tell as who that is bcs its building up so Im guessing its Bjorn from other world who got there before our Mc.
Also it looked like witch recognized mc and we can also assume Gavis is lying but I dont think so
I still don’t understand why the witch would go so far to stop him from becoming stronger/reaching the abyss gate. We dont have enough information yet but it seems odd no?
Well we're being led to assume that the Abyss Gate is a pathway to other worlds, in that players that open it get to go home. We also know that the Record Stone said that Bjorn opens the gate ‘and fulfills his wish,’ which im not entirely sure what his wish actually is, or if even he knows. I imagine that the Earth Witch wants it to stay closed because of the advancing grey border, while Auril Gavis wants to open it to allow the people of this world to escape.
Side note… Gavis said “it seems you've seen another me in that world”… while it could mean another Gavis, I'm wondering if it’s the same one, but a future or past version of himself, transported via either magic or record stone… possibly?
Also I suspect the “child” he referenced is the Witch, and if so, it confirm that the Witch has the power to send players home…
Lastly, it looks like Gavis came to bargain through information like they did before, but seeing Hansoo in a vulnerable state, sought to manipulate him with twisted truths. When you dive into the idea that Gavis spread the game through multiple “worlds” or realities, why was only one version of each person in Raphdonia? And how many worlds would he have supposedly spread the game through? Was Bjorn's original world the only one with cheats, or were there others? If it was only Bjorn's original world, does that mean there was another Bjorn, or did it combine his souls into one?
Gavis is manipulating Bjorn, that’s a given. Does he want Bjorn to go back? Absolutely – I think his words are given to fuel Bjorn with a desire. He first wanted to check to see Hansoo's state of mind to see how to handle him. Remember, he wants Bjorn to open the Abyss Gate – without Bjorn he doesn’t think it is possible – that why he abandoned all the other “potentials” (including Ruin Scholar, Orcules Leader, the original Balkan aka Kagureas, and possibly Ravien). By implanting an inception into Hansoo to get him to come back, he (as Bjorn) can then fulfill this supposed destiny to open the gates.
Is this a real world? It’s possible, depending on how you define real, but I think that’s besides the point. The real question is, what will he have to go through (or sacrifice) to go back, and what will be waiting for him? I don’t think it’ll be a question of “if” he’ll go back… I think this world will seem too real for him to feel comfortable enough to stay. He’s not one to accept reality for face value
We know that he spread the game to multiple dimension, we know that there is a gavis accomplice I don't recall whom since there was a line about the game been “the most accurate copy of that world" in a discussion that didn't include gavis. We know the ruin scholar is from a different dimension, I just assumed they weren't human, not humans from a different earth.
I don't think Bjorn's original world had the cheat version. He was an active member of the forums for Dungeon and Stone yet he only heard about the cheat version after having joined Ghostbusters. It was mentioned in the Newbie chat room that the pirated/cheat version was made 5 earth years before Hansoo first learned of it. I feel like it would be pretty much impossible for him to be that active in a community and go 4 or 5 years and never hear about it.That said, having gone back to read it again, there was a cut-away to 2 detectives talking about our boys case, saying some stuff that doesn't quite add up with the world he's in now. They said that his mother didn't care at all about the case, and that there were similar disappearances overseas. The other disappearances might've been other players beating the game or they could've been that worlds Auril Gavis performing experiments, getting the settings right so to speak. Or who knows, maybe our boy just tunnel visioned that hard and whooshed his way past knowing about the cheat version.
Where's Ashlen, she called it way back when. Hansoo is in a world where he can properly live in peace… but his lingering attachments to Raphdonia, despite its life and death struggles, moments of turmoil, loss, and overall hardship, will keep him wanting to go back
Though I feel like the Witch was warning him, with a look of pity, that coming back will only bring more hardships. The same way Leatlas was warning him that he’d encounter extremely difficult challenges and only reap great rewards by overcoming them. It’s like they see his fate and pity him… but our boy Bjorn doesn’t go down easy. Hopefully he can continue to use his weakness as his greatest strength
yeah, i saw that i was right, and it feels like Gavis here is suggesting that this isnt the same world but is a real world, so another earth reality, one without the cheat version at all. Also sorry ive been more quiet recently, life been hella busy and just not had the time to comment like i normally would haha

Appears I was right initially that he's going to beat the game again or maybe just “believe" enough to slip back. I wonder what timeframe he'll get sent back to either way.
This is all very high fantasy but it just adds more unanswered world questions, so I think it's probably fair to say everything Gavis just said is probably a lie?
On another note, if we trust gavis and do accept the above, bjorn isn't dreaming, he is in the real world, this seems like a strict upgrade from a localised point of view, remaining here with the back of your mind validation that your experience did happen would be really easy.
So, my new cope take is, bjorn is still dreaming, most things that gavis said are still lies, the author isn't going to try and write a multiverse because I frankly don't think they're up for it.
Edit: My new crackpot theory is that bjorn from this reality also got Isekai'd and was the barbarian chief who collected all the relics 20 years ago. This would be why the earth witch seems to knows him, the earth witch has then fucked up by sending the wrong bjorn consciousness back to this reality.

I know we shouldn't totally trust what Auril Gavis has to say, but it DOES make sense. Thinking back to the first time our boy entered GhostBusters, his username was taken. Im sure most if not all of us chalked that up to be some impersonator taking his username but it could well have been the him from the other world that got there before him.
