I would say that the king implanted a command into Raven so that she betrays Bjorn. Maybe the king has a power to force any raphdonian to do his bidding no matter the order. But the evil spirit aren't submitted to that control, that would be why to confirm that Bjorn is an evil spirit he just had to try ordering him to kill Raven. And that would be one of the reasons why the evil spirits are hunted because they are the only ones who can be a threat to the king ๐ค
If everything she says is true then that could actually mean the kings command to kill raven wasnโt just a test, he could have known also. The king could have some seriously insane deduction skills combined with military Intelligence.
Btw seems that when bjorn shows up to save her, Amelia would finally realize her feelings for bjorn. All of you Amelia supporters are gonna eat good soonโฆ
Bro, do you know the story we're reading? Bjorn is trying his hardest out here to avoid any romance ๐ lolIn all seriousness though, cool character developments.
I had my suspicions but knew it was raven 4 sure from the moment Bjorn got reinforces in the baek ho fightโฆ. Now to see if she got swapped by some one else when she was being restrained, or even before that. Im quite certain she wasnt as polite earlier, she called bjorn just jandel in the basement, and reverted to mr. Jandel (as in the days of their first party toguether) when she was encountered afterwardsโฆ Might be some mind control or having her will subdued by an ability like the kings commandโฆ. Still I knew it from the get go mostlyโฆ My bet is that when they came back from the basement her teleport relayed her to the lions den within the royal palace and got swapped/mind controlled then
I still get the sense that this is a misdirect – Liranne said Bjorn had said those words to Raven, its possible he could have been talking about someone else to herAlso, Raven has called him Mr. Jandel from time (since at least chap 39).Then again, if she would be the betrayer, my money would be on some compelling order from the King
Yaโฆ especially since Bjorn almost humiliate him. His ego was sure hurt that time, but 20 years is a long time for a person to stay the same, so maybe he matured a lot since then.Anyways, I feel like Bjorn failed a little here, and I don't know if the author will ever address it, but with all his game knowledge, plus he knows about Orcules strengths and allโฆ he should've prepared his allies better. Like, what to do if they encounter certain people, like now.
Tbh, Amelia is probably the best to face the Traitor, of all his allies, since she can still fight with her aura. She's smart too, which is another one of the redeeming qualities of this work – there are a bunch of intelligent and crafty characters aside from the MC.That being said, sharing his game knowledge with them would def be super helpful, (though to be fair, only 4 of them know he's a player- 5 including Raven)
Yeah, if anyone understands him aside from Bjorn, itโs Amelia.Stillโฆ it couldn't hurt to make some plans for occasions like theseโฆ Kinda like missed opportunities.Btw, off topic, but, have you read the novel of A Regressorโs Tale of Cultivation, blue? If not, I hope you try it. It's peak.
Well without any โskill' the swordmanship of the โTraitor' was unmatched by anybody when he clashed with Bjorn 22 years ago and Amelia barely managed to escape so probably nothing would have change respectively 22 and 2 years laterโฆ the gap between Ricardo and Amelia could even be worseโฆ
Fair enough. I guess I meant that of the Anabada team, she'd be able to last the longest/have the highest chance of survival. Though its more like 4/10 chance vs. 1/10 ๐

I wonder if the commander of Orcules remembers Amelia as the Rose Knight he failed to kill decades agoโฆ
If so, I hope he overcame the trauma he had back then and doesn't try to immediately kill her.
