That means the “royals” are just by proxy or achievement like Bjorn. If that news were to get out it’d be chaos. That could be the real reason they csnt have the adventurers getting too strong.
Interesting about Hirkumata… it means that Gavis is working to limit the King's options… either to oppose the king, or in some elaborate plan to force Bjorn's involvement.
Also interesting about there being 2 hearts. By making that deal with village chief, Bjorn unwittingly and inadvertently triggered all this into motion.
Lastly, I remember Regal Vagos had a numbered item called Second Heart – I wonder if that was modeled after Karui's 2 hearts? (Side note, that item with the vampire essence would be OP).
