James Carla (as predicted) died along with another Ice rock companion. Given his arm was irreparably destroyed, he wasn’t a total loss. Versil aka Fox is a bummer I got to say. Would have preferred the Dwarf. I hope she least got the satisfaction in knowing clown left this world before her. Out of respect to Fox’s wishes, he might come out to Goblin about his identity. Her last words as herself to him was to open up more.
Love that the Marquis corpse was just handed over to Elizabeth like a guild member turning in wolf skins after completing a quest lol!
I have a feeling Baek ho learned about Bjorns prophecy. As a result, he learned why Bjorn asked them to become allies after his last private talk with Gavis. By learning Bjorns intentions of making them allies so that he could kill Baek ho without remorse to self fulfill the prophecy he acted as he did by killing secondary sub role players. So in retaliation, he killed a member that was now useless to him and another that was conveniently around thus making Bjorn twistedly indebted to Baek ho by saving his main/ crucial members from dying to fate. He would probably go as far as to say he planned to kill the dwarf if the mage hadn’t been there.(baek hos logic) three birds one stone.
RIP versil ☹️. James too, but i think Versil had the best redemption arc in the series, aside from Amelia. From looking down at our boy at the Round Table to abandoning him IRL during the Noark invasion of the Labyrinth, to becoming one of his closest aides, and eventually vice-captain of his precious clan.
I think Baek Ho finally dyed his colors permanently now…
I’m guessing payback for the outer wall adventure. Baek, I'd assume wanted to send a message but also not enrage him to the point of immediate combat. Like to let him know he can’t be everywhere at once kinda thing. Also Misha is needed for final floor, possibly erwin too. Maybe Carla was the target and he got vice captain as a bonus on his way out
