I feel like we will find that out after he cleared the island. Something will probably happen. Could honestly be an ambush with Baek Ho? But that would be an extreme event
@Jay Probably because the author doesn’t explain how long it took them to arrive from receiving the key to the center of the island. They could have found it 35 minutes ago and arrived there first.
@Dots No, the whole point of the conversation with ghost was to determine the value of Bear. Ghost learned that Bjorn valued him more than 400+ million to Bjorn by leading the conversation around like he did. Once again our stupid MC got lead around by the nose. It’s very likely they directed Bear’s group to Bjorn’s, treated him poorly knowing they would get a reaction, and were attacked in the process which allows them to claim justification later. Ghost will likely pin some sort of treason on Bear in the meantime and when Bjorn and crew exit with the rewards tell them to trade for his life and the guild master.Killing the guild master might be the original target the whole time in support of the 3rd branch guild leader they fore shadowed a connection to a couple chapters ago.
I very strongly doubt they somehow directed Abman, the navigator of his squad, into a confrontation with Bjorn. Yes, Ghost learned how much Bjorn values Abman, but he doesn't mean much when it's public information that Bjorn values his companions over everything else. It also seems very unlikely that the Golden Tree clan made plans to mess with Bjorn or the Guildmaster before their first encounter on the island, since that was total chance. That being said, I'm not sure what Ghost’s game is here other than just planning an ambush, or perhaps to take the B team hostage while Bjorn and the A team fight the boss? But also, Bjorn has hinted that there's more to this island than just the boss fight, so who knows what'll happen in there or after
