It would likely be for floors 5 and up, as aside from a few regions on the 2nd and 3rd floors, they are either very cavernous, or (like the 4th floor) require portal jumping. Plus, only teams of 6 can travel til then, so they’d be split.Still, would be an awesome way to travel and kill time, while flexing on the other explorers, lol. They could then rename the boat to Flying Merry, since i vaguely recall Han-soo alluding at one time that a certain 1000+ episode anime existed in his world (DQM).
Ive been thinking for the last few chapters how no one is questioning how bjorn knows of all of this… havent said anything yet cause excuses to dismiss questioning could be provided, but now… bjorn is about to uncover a secret of the labyrinth that nobody has ever discover, EVER, and no one raises an eyebrow? On another note how inconsistent is bjorn being as supersticious as he is in regards of names but doesnt consider that maybe telling a potential traitor that she will be able to write the thesis of her dreams once he is dead, could jinx the mission or somewhat undermine the outcome of this endeavor in any way… guess dumbo bjorn is back…

As for the rest, his experiences and contacts as a noble and with the royal family would likely explain his access to uncommon information. Not that unbelievable in that context I would think. Lol I agree, though on the barbarian brain, he's mostly pragmatic and not usually superstitious, outside of the usual death flags and his proven Hans curse, lol. Remember he's not an ordinary barbarian, he's a K barbarian 😉
