Going to the library was one of the very first things he did when starting out, and there are lot of very personal attachments he has to the place- there’s nothing strange about it. Getting what he wants out of people always came down to intimidation or manipulation, and a noble title was just another means to an end for him. Actually being given a special privilege tied to something he cares about a lot is bound to make him feel some sort of way.
Now that they mentioned the firefly Ring, does he still have the ampel Ring?
Also does he still have the knockback reducing esaring from the dwarf in the doppelganger forest ?
pretty sure he still has all of those, since they’re part of his tank build/armament. Been a while since we last heard mention of them though. We mostly just hear about the aegis shield and armor, and any special items of the day
