I trully hope they are still alive… U have no idea how much!!!But I fear author has Schrödinged those members to soften the blow on the readers when , eventually, is found out they died… And I hate it… Because it might work… Not on me tho, ill stop reading once that happens… It not so much about plot points left unanswered, or contradictions to arise ( like the foreseen ravens betrayal) neither about lost characters that I cherish what angers me, but the authors cowardice to comit to his decisions and try to use psychological tricks on me… Instrad of facing consecuences and readers openlyStill im certain that if such development happens the mayority of readers will continue their support…
I get your point. On the other hand it shows that bjorn got to confident and we know that people will die. But I Heroic Death is something that lasts not like thisJust like the iceshard expedition where the one knight died standing thats something i want to see even if it is a precious comrade.
