Yes he is. Honestly it is very refreshing. He forced his way to fight against Leviathan and even without Gigantification he would’ve been able to end it with Little Light.
I am kindda proud of my barbarian.
Well… This was kind of a retcon… Author stablishes permanent enhancement, then he goes overboard with titan mode when is convenient, and now when it isnt, he decides that gigantifications size its gonna adjust itself to what the plot needs…What a disapointment…
Why are you so angry? Do you want him to suffer 24/7I think it was handled well. He needed a power up as a tank, and now he have a skill with possitivs and negativs.
Problems with strength. His height isn’t adjustable as he wants. He has no way ever again to get the Transcendece passive again. It is a power up, but with it’s down sides.
I think it is within the worldbuilding
I’m curious about the message that said his rank is insufficient… maybe it means he can corrupt/enhance an active ability once each rank/level perhaps?
Hm… tbh, yesterday I had read the permanent adjustment to be just what was described today, so I dont think its a retcon. The ability was forever changed, and it has a condition for increased growth (as per the status msg).Though this confirms that Bjorn can’t actually see the status messages, and that even though they appear for us (and on the pc screen – throwback), his knowledge of them is based on his familiarity with the messages and knew effects are foreign to him
I thought it is common knowledge that he can’t see the status window and keeps track of it in his head. For us readers its displayed and probably on a computer as well but not for bjorn.
I think they made this explicit a few chapters ago, like it was the first full confirmation of that, but could have been interpreted earlier by his reactions to getting exp
Yep, what Keanan said – it was generally understood by readers, though ambiguous at times (a good example was when he first got the aegis armor), and never was explicitly stated. Now we know for sure! 🙂
Can you not read? It said it permanently increases the bonus size given by gigantification, and that the skill now has another increase if a large creature is nearby… they were transported into a dungeon space, so it didn’t count… Just mad and wrong every week
What's your reaction?
