so my theory on numbered items from last chapter can be discarded, now that we know this rift guardian just has that item normally, but anyways lol, we get to see Bjorn making lifelong comrades who will follow him through hell and back again haha, all for the price of a level 2 essence Bjorn barely cares about, Barbarian reputation of honor and simplicity serving to Bjorn’s advantage once more!
I doubt she’d betray Bjorn for such a petty reason – I think she only agreed to it because she either feels it either wouldn’t hurt Bjorn, or the consequences of not doing it would hurt Bjorn. Don’t forget, she’s still jonesing for him
