  1. Why does man faced bird remind me of FFXIV end Walker boss?

  3. interesting, so this is our first confirmation that even rift guardians can be dropped in the rainy season. A question i would be curious about then is, for the rift this guardian is normally from, did a rift for its floor open this time around, and if so, was it conquered? or not. Cause depending on the answers we get, could change alot of things as to why the rift guardian spawned here. If we consider that a rift for the correct floor, such that this guardian would be there did spawn, we can then assume that the rift spawning is the 1st condition for guardians to spawn in the basement. Next, if we know whether the rift was defeated or not, we can then find out another key piece of info for the basement. If the rift wasnt defeated, then we can assume that all undefeated guardians, if no explorers remain in their rift, will come to somewhere in the basement L1 at labyrinth close, and thus, we can then assume that its all leftover monsters and its somehow a cleaning mechanic. which i think is more likely, The other possibility of course, is that the rift WAS defeated, and therefore, only monsters who are DEFEATED can come down to the basement L1 during rainy season, basically getting a revive on spawn. But i think this is a much less likely outcome personally, and would make alot less sense overall, so i think its likely safe to assume that its the monsters that remain. But in that case, if any undefeated rift guardians can come down, would then undefeated Floor Lords also be sent down? by the same logic as the Rift guardians, the Floor lords, if they are left on the floor at the close of Labyrinth, could also be sent down to somewhere in the basement, If we follow this same logic, that all entities, once spawned in, will be sent to basement L1 somewhere if they survive to close of labyrinth, could that then explain the existence of the Numbered item as well? It was found/spawned in, say as some explorers were then ambushed and killed, and it was left behind whenever it was dropped. As based on Bjornโ€™s reaction, titanusโ€™ dont normally hold items like that. So how and Why does the Titanus have it? By the logic of thing that once spawned in and not claimed by someone, things will then be sent to the Basement L1, is there potentially more numbered items scattered around the basement L1? And if they are not there as a result of things being found/spawned in, in the main labyrinth, and are just down here, is it possible there is one major Numbered item per island? this is Number 7, so if we assume that there is a Numbered item per island, then we could then call this Island 7. If we later find more single number items on other islands, i will consider this concept more, as that could allude to a potential 9 islands to be found down here, possibly 10, if there is a Number 0 item, each connected to a Single Numbered item. Im personally not sure which is more likely for the numbered items as of yet, as we just dont know enough to know if this is just something to be found here, or if its due to the nature of the Rainy season. I think the next Ghostbusters will be a massive information boon for Bjorn, as all of the round table members should know about the region by then, and hopefully will have brought some interesting info, but personally, i think Bjorn will actually be able to get more from the normal forums. If he can check on the rift info, Bjorn likely can extrapolate a large amount of the rules of the basement and its rainy season. theres alot of things that, once bjorn finds out a few details on it, will be explained much further

          1. thats a really fun idea tbh, imagine Aynar just copies Bjorn every time too, and so we just get two giant Bjorns while Aynar chills over there, since she can only use one of the copied targetโ€™s skills, i imagine she would almost always pick Gigantification, unless told specificafically by Bjorn otherwise

          2. Re-read the chapter I think Im wrong. Mistaken mimicry for mark of ruin. But yeah I think either Emily or anyar should take it.Emily and her copy Bjorn skill gigantic. 3 big assassin aura human swinging at anyone is crazy. Anyar if copy Bjorn skill, she will be a beast in tanking too.Wild idea, if Bjorn took it and copy Emily aura skill. Imagine aura + swing hammer ๐Ÿคฃ

          3. Lol that would funnyDont think it would suit either Bjorn or Aynar though – I think it would ruin their builds

          4. Aura is not a skill you can learn through essences, itโ€™s more like Blade Weapon Mastery. Mimicry should not be able to copy it

  8. I swear that luck thing is out of hand. Everytime they kill a new enemy that is tough i drops a essance

    1. Honestly, I like it for the sake of pacing. The nature of this world almost necessitated the time skip forwardโ€ฆ now they can avoid any other campy tropes like that. Not that the arc was bad or thought outโ€ฆ I just dislike time skips.

    2. i think its less that its every time, since theyve killed alot of tough enemies, and more just that weโ€™re specifically shown those moments more often, which can skew our perspective and the drop rate. like the Hipramagent for example, when they got that essence, they specifically mention how they had to kill like 6-8 of them to get it, with each fight being about 20-30 mins, and a risk, but that it did get easier the more of them they fought, so its not like theyre instantly getting essences each time, just we get the full details of the fight when a essence does drop. there was also all the rainy season monsters and most of them werent dropping essences, plus we dont technically know if theres potentially an increased essence drop rate in the basement in general, there are some funky rule alterations down here, so there could be something beyond the luck playing a hand here.

      1. Actually wasnโ€™t that how it works, that beginners luck spawns a guaranteed essence on first defeat? That was my understanding when they first explained it, u less I'm mistaken
