what if to take over bjorns body they have to have a soul battle so the reason they were surrounding him was to kill him if the chief took over but the chief does not know that bjorn is a evil spirit and knows how to fight with his soul and what if he also sees the original bjorn
super curious how he will avoid this fate, how the chief factors in, and how saintred will act, cause personally i think this will somehow connect to Saintred and what i talked about previously with the Iron mask stuff, He must had suspected Bjorn since long ago, and of course, he couldnt prove it up to here that Bjorn IS iron mask, but maybe Saintred does find some proof or something, and uses that as a reason to take bjorn down. since he does have to follow the orders to keep Bjorn safe and return him as of yet, but also if he knows hes Iron mask, then may have a previous order to hunt him down and kill him as well. Along with taht, we can consider the 2 cases that Bjorn mentions, 1) Where the Chief takes over Saintred, or 2) the Chief takes over Bjorn. If 1) The chief takes over Saintred, then this would just make sense, cause the Chief, if he can do that in secret, could easily manufacture a reason to take Bjorn out, and thus explain this situation and why Bjorn is being killed, but the other case i think is much more interesting. If 2) Bjorn was possessed in that revelation, and killed, then even if he was revived by the stone, who would come back? Our Bjorn, the Chief? or the Original Bjorn, from before Lee Hansoo arrived. We dont know which soul would be prioritized. Though i imagine it would be the one currently in control, IE the Chief. So if that happens, Our Bjorn may be gone for good, But also consider how Bjorn may take advantage of this information if the chief later comes to take his body. Since he knows how things go, and the chief doesnt know about the revival stone, couldnt Bjorn basically tell the Chief as he tries to take his body. Literally mention the Revelation from the Goddess that the body of Bjorn will be killed, and use it as a tool to make the Chief NOT take Bjorn’s body. Since if that body is about to die, that removes any desire for the Chief to take over Bjorn right?? Leatlas told this revelation seemingly to keep Bjorn alive, and so maybe is counting on him to take advantage of this info in some weird way, if the Cheif wants to live, hes not gonna take over the body of the guy whose Doomed by God. And as long as the chief doesnt find out about the stone in any way, theres minimal issue, cause if he knows about the Stone, may decide that taking over Bjorn is the actual better option. Bjorn also wants to get rid of Saintred. What if Bjorn uses this info to try and make Saintred the Cheif’s target instead of himself. But at the same time, that then creates a way for the stone to be used properly on our Bjorn, as, if the Chief is made to go after Saintred by this news instead, and the chief(in saintred’s body) then orders Bjorn killed, Misha, with the chief still not aware of the stone, could revive Bjorn, and save him, thus removing the original Saintred, and then Bjorn could reveal the info about Saintred being taken over by the Chief, and ties the situation up with a nice clean bow somehow
We still don't know how the evil spirit ritual works… I mean, if he takes over the body of someone, does the soul of that someone start residing in his old body? Or is the soul in a state of unconsciousness? If the former is true, then killing Bjorn’s body and reviving could also revive the chief, or it could revive Bjorn's empty body (soulless), in which case he would need to do the ritual.If it is the latter, then it is a weird case, like, why if reviving him brings back only the old Bjorn? (The original, not the evil spirit) In that case, it would only mean evil spirits can't be resuscitated by the stone… So maybe the only option is the former (body swap) for him to get through this… and if not, then he has to avoid being possessed altogether.
It also begs the question of how the stone works – is it a revive or a reset? Ie. Does it act like a respawn from a previous state, or just resurrect someone back to life, with everything else intact?Either way, Bjorn can't just get rid of Saintred, since he has a respawn skill when he dies to go back in Raphdonia. If Bjorn got rid of him, there’d be war when he finally escapes the basement. Dunno how he’s gonna get his way out of this one, but brute force doesn’t seem like an option. I think he’ll need some lion mask version of talk-no-jutsu to convince Saintred somehow into siding with him over a common enemy (chief). Then again I dunno how likely that is with Saintred already sussed over Bjorn. Man, I see walls, but I see no ends… Maybe erwin's hair truly is the key after all… lol jp
Wait, I got it… what if the village chief saves Bjorn from being executed, cause he wants Bjorn's body, and then the chief kills Saintred. Then Bjorn would be off the hook (at least for Saintred, post-basement) and would then just have to deal with the chief. Then they get into a major battle and Bjorn is able to sway the army against the chief and take him down that way…

i mean. He IS a noble, and what do noble houses need? An heir!!! What if the non human nobles asks that he has an heir at some point to ensure the survival of his house, and keep a Barbarian house in their ranks, especially given hes on the Stone of Honor now, so the Noble House of an Honored Explorer staying alive would be a powerful tool for Nobles with their whole rep thing. And if they dangle something that Bjorn needs in front of him in exchange for getting an Heir, well thats just something he may not have a choice but to deal with some day hahaha, Force him to pick for the Sake of The Most Noble House Jandel!
oh true, i forgot about that, well, we dont know if barbarians cant have kids with others or if their kids just arent barbarians, we havent seen any sign of half breed races at all in this world, so we can assume that people dont get half and half genes from the various races. Also alot of stories can have races that only make more of themselves when having kids in species, and otherwise, will default to the species of other parent. So maybe barbarians cant have kids with other species, or maybe he just cant have barbarian kids with other species, it hasnt been told which it is. Though, idk if we’ve had the novel mention anything about the other races as well? have we? like do we know if there are any say, elf/human couples? or dwarf/therianthrope couples? im pretty sure all the couples we’ve been shown in story so far have been single species couples. So you may be right that species cant intermingle like that, we’ll have to wait and see
