  1. Reviewing this chapter, does the Chief actually change his original body because of the inevitable encounter with the basement floor boss? And is he hiding it from Bjorn to possibly get rid of the human witnesses?

I think most Commentors here have a point but are a bit to emotionally invested or are simply making things look worse than what they are (but naturally it could also just be me thinking its not that bad)

-yes Misha โ€œbetrayedโ€ bjรถrn, but only to save him, she probably also didnt tell him because it may have been a self-fullfilling prophecy if she told him that (atleast that could be a reason)

    – yes she should have told bjรถrn regardless of that, thats a problem they will have to fix together, because thats a big trust issue , but considering that her โ€œloveโ€ is constantly in near-death Scenarios, that they havent really spoken with each other truthfully for the past year/s, and that he sacrifices himself constantly doesnt help here

    – inshort: Both have problems, Misha with her trust, maybe also because she was bullied by her own family and she couldnt open up about her feelings to anyone, so when bjรถrn came and helped her, she maybe became somewhat obsessed to save bjรถrn no matter what it takes, probably also because she thought he was fcking Dead.

Same with bjรถrn who has his own emotional problems, like being left alone by his Mother, being ill all his life and only having computer games to pass the time and other stuff why he broke up with is girlfriend (idk anymore why so i wont include this as an argument for bjรถrns issues) or not telling his teammates what is going and trying to do stuff alone (now there were naturally also Situations where couldnt or it was better not to but you get my point)

(now thats just my opinion, i could also have misinterpreted stuff, thats why i tried to be rather vague and only choosing things i was relatively sure of)

  6. A random thought I had- what if this was a reverse double bluff? like if Lee baek-ho wanted to break Bjorn's connection to this world by shattering his most important relationship?

    1. it honestly could be both, if the stone is used, great! Bjorn has no memories and Baek Hoo can mold him into a perfect comrade. If it fails and Bjorn catches Misha! Also great! His closest relationship with the woman who he loved and who loved him has been harmed and broken!! Another reason for Bjorn to draw away from the Natives and join Baek Hoo! Just dont think Baek Hoo has fully grasped how petty Bjorn can be, he will never fully side with Baek hoo the more of this shit that Baek hoo pulls. Bjorn is, tbh, very petty. Bjorn has already shown as much that hes getting pretty tired of all this stuff from Baek Hoo, i think at a certain point, Bjorn is going to decide enough is enough, and just take baek hoo out, probably waiting to reach the appropriate level of strength to contend with him, cause we still dont know almost anything about Baek Hooโ€™s essences. He hasnt directly tried to harm Bjorn, mostly only through indirect means and other people, but all of it has gotten in Bjornโ€™s way and messed with his plans multiple times, even as some of the info is useful and important. and Bjorn i think fully knows why Baek hoo hasnt been aggressive, he knows that Baek Hoo wants Bjorn on his side, and tbh, has been taking advantage of that desire in Baek Hoo to string him along. while Baek hoo thinks hes slowly creating the path to have Bjorn as a true Comrade, Bjorn knows the truth, that Baek hoo is actually creating a path to death by Barbarian Spite!

  7. trust is a tower. built over time into something grand, but removing one stone from the base can collapse it in an instant. people only feel betrayed if there are expectations TO be betrayed. if a known thief acts as a thief, the only thing one thinks is โ€œthat tracksโ€. if a friend acts as a thief, that's when pain occurs

  8. As far as I can tell the only part of this which is solely Mishas fault is her just not saying anything because of the threat. We saw the threat happen, and itโ€™s likely that after such a long time adventuring she is scared of Bael or what his name was. Point is, her fear of him shows that she doesnโ€™t believe in Bjorns ability to defend himself or her. That part i think takes it from an honest mistake to sort of a betrayal, at least in the sense that it โ€œprovesโ€ that their relationship isnโ€™t what it was anymore.

  10. Thank God!!! Finally, some vindication. Yall pissed your pants when I pointed out Misha was a traitor before but now it's there in your faces. If Bjorn, being the simp that he is, can call her out to her face then even you Misha simps can do the same. I've been waiting for this chapter for so long. Goodbye biatch!

    1. Can she truly be called a traitor if everything she's doing is all for Bjorn? She'd probably give her life if he asked lol. Plus the only reason she isn't telling him everything is because he's too weak. He can't protect himself from everything. So she has to make sacrifices for him whether he appreciates it or not.

      1. She lied to the person she loves for his sake, eh? Great so since she knows best what's to keep her from lying in the future? If he's so weak then Lee can basically just tell her to garble his balls or he'll kill Bjorn right? It's also arrogant to assume she can protect him by following what Lee says since she isn't strong enough to kill him either right?I'm going to be brutally honest, absolutely none of you simps can make an argument. She listened to the instructions of another person over her leader AND decided to keep it a secret. This is a literal description of the situation. That's betrayal by definition, which makes her a traitor by definition. Accept the situation for what it is. You can still simp over Misha and rationalize why she did it as much as you want but stop denying that she is by definition a traitor.

        1. i mean, youre the one being overly agressive. No one here denied Mishaโ€™s wrongdoings, in fact, ive seen multiple people you said didnt, actively acknowledge the things she did wrong. Its more just what kind of traitor she is that people are getting at, was it a betrayal of malice? or a betrayal of ignorance and misunderstanding and fear. both are betrayal, but the reasons behind why it happened are vastly different, and being aware of and acknowledging those differences is important, as they affect where things will go. In this case, theyre right. and so are you. Misha did commit a form of betrayal, but it was motivated not out of a desire to hurt Bjorn, or take anything from him, she did it out of a fucked up, misplaced desire to help him. in my Opinion, She thought she could take advantage of baek Hoo, and wanted to not tell Bjorn cause she knew it was wrong, but still wanted to take his offer and try and use it to help Bjorn. Which doesnt negate her wrongdoing, but it does add context. Bjorn, in this moment, clearly showed that he has no intense feelings of disappointment, or shame, or anything it seemed like, it just was. He basically cant fully trust her at this point, and has no choice but to keep her at arms length, and letting that hurt him isnt productive. Bjorn is a very logical man, as emotional as he can be, those emotions are driven by his own form of logic, and right now, emotions for misha cant help Bjorn, only harm him, only make him more upset and flustered in a time where he need mental stability, so he seemingly, is discarding those feelings he has for misha at this specific moment, not to say they cant change or come back, as even bjorn said he saw no malice in mishaโ€™s intention. they will never be what they were, but i truly do think they can salvage this relationship as friends, not as lovers. I think Misha does still have a chance to regain Bjornโ€™s trust, but it wont be easy, and Bjorn has already shown that he is willing to cut off emotions if he feels he has no other choice, but in the same vein, if the person truly wants to correct those mistakes, I think Bjorn will still have enough wherewithal and caring, to allow her a chance at redemption, to correct these mistakes and the very least, become a comrade to Bjorn again.

          1. Haha there's definitely a potential death flag on Misha's end during her redemption arc but her entire build seems to be integral to late game raids though. She has so many possibilities that I don't know which one I like the best ๐Ÿ˜„

          2. honestly, it would be rather poetic if Misha later on dies to save Bjornโ€™s life, and as she dies, tells Bjorn to use the stone on her or something. as a call back to all of this, Im not sure if Bjorn would do so, or what would happen, but the idea of it seems interesting and very much could be an interesting literary device
            0
          3. First, when people ask if you can really call her a traitor, they're implicitly denying that she's a traitor. That's denial right there. This rejection of reality is what I find pathetic and why you sense aggression. Much like you pretending this denial doesn't exist. Second, if you want to even attempt to justify why she betrayed Bjorn, then stop making excuses and actually let her take accountability for her actions. Trying to trivialize her behavior is just a way to rationalize her actions and minimize what she's done. You yourself are guilty of this by adding qualifiers to her betrayal. It doesn't matter why she betrayed them only that she did. So if I ask, is Misha a traitor, you can answer with one single word, โ€œYes!โ€ No qualifiers or additional context is needed until you accept this fundamental truth. She can't repent if she doesn't just straight up the fact that she betrayed him.Lastly, she absolutely CAN repent and even be a lover again by earning that trust back. She's needs to take accountability which is what all of you Misha white knights seem allergic to. She just needs to say: I'm sorry, you're completely right. I betrayed you and the group. I didn't fully realize what I was doing until now because I thought I was doing it to protect you, but I realize you're right and I trusted Leeโ€™s words over you. I know I've lost all the trust you've placed in me and that you SHOULDN'T even trust me again in the future, but I promise to be completely transparent moving forward. I'll completely support using whatever methods you want to check if I'm telling the truth and I hope that little by little too earn your trust back.
            0
          4. im sorry you lack the critical thinking skills to read and understand what i wrote, But i literally agreed with most of you just said. I said she fucked up. She cant just, suddenly be okay and all right with Bjorn again, I never said anything of that sort, youre assuming that cause you want to be right and it seems, refuse to allow yourself to entertain the idea that anyone besides you can see the nuance in this situation. Cause i literally said she could be redeemed. which implies owning up to, and correcting your past mistakes, which i also directly said. โ€œโ€ฆif the person truly wants to correct those mistakes, I think Bjorn will still have enough wherewithal and caring, to allow her a chance at redemptionโ€ฆโ€ direct quote from me. That means she owns up to her mistakes, and that allows her to start being redeemed. Thanks for repeating what i said back to me in a more aggressive tone. you jerk.
            0
          5. I know, I was agreeing with what you said about redemption but I went further and said she COULD even be a lover again which you didnโ€™t. My point was that Misha defenders canโ€™t even simply admit her betrayal without immediately jumping to qualifiers and attempting to minimize the impact of her actions. You never contend with this. This is a DIRECT criticism that Iโ€™ve made and one you keep dodging. If you guys canโ€™t properly recognize the descriptive reality, then you canโ€™t make any prescriptions such as redemption. The other point you refuse to contend with is that the simps canโ€™t acknowledge that Misha SHOULDNโ€™T be trusted. YOU, personally understand that she needs to redeem herself but Iโ€™m talking about the simps in general that are denying sheโ€™s even done anything wrong. Which you believe donโ€™t even exist lol. So understand that I want Misha to go through a redemption arc, but only if itโ€™s earned. Something that fans of hers canโ€™t allow to happen if they canโ€™t even admit she fucked up.
            0
          6. Misha's best scenario redemption arc is dying to save Bjorn lmao. I do not care if she becomes his lover again or not, it seems highly unlikely that will happen. She can maybe join the harem if he sets one up but she isn't going to be his sole woman. What I do care about is you rubbing shit all over the comments section because of your fragile ass ego. Go get some therapy.
            0
          7. Having her die would be a cop out. That would deny her need to mature and take accountability for her actions. It's HARD to earn back trust once it's broken. You only feel like it's rubbing shit because I'm hitting a nerve. You literally can't contend with my arguments because you have none. All you offer is rationalizations. I don't care what conclusions you arrive at, my problem is with how you and the rest of the Misha defenders arrive to those conclusions. You can't make proper prescriptions without having proper descriptions. That's what is repulsive about Misha simps.

          8. misha hiding the stone of revival was bad now where are these long paragraphs about bjorn lying and gas lighting his entire party lmao that he once again did to keep his party safe the most misha should have to do is apologize she trying to keep her hubby safe i mean through out the entire series the only girl that didnt lie or do some cooked shit to bjorn is aynar who ever wants to argue i can bring up a fact about every other girl ameila literally back stabbed him and drugged him when he was in the past , raven literally almost made bjorn a lab rat for someone in the tower looking for a evil spirit, versill left the entire party to die and got her self cooked, and the fairy is a fucking lunatic who tried to trap bjorn in a mansion and plenty more, the sailor tried to kill bjorn and his party, but god forbid misha hides some shit like bjorn to protect her hubby now its a witch hunt lmao like i said aynar best girl followed by raven get my aynar away from these toxic pieces of shit lmao

Technically I donโ€™t think it would matter to him at this point thoughโ€ฆAlso iโ€™ve been trying to keep a library of Dungeon & Stone facts in case I ever run into a game dev whoโ€™d be interested in (re)creating it. 15. Your argument is you saying how much you hate women then stroking yourself off the rest of the time lmao. Plus the only one repulsive is you. I Don't think I've ever met someone who used simp as much as you do and I now 100% know you've never had a woman willingly have sex with you, if at all. Legit. Why do you hate women so much?

          16. Man, this debate is really turning up the heat in the community – I have a thread with Chris last chapter too. I donโ€™t think weโ€™re ever going to reach a consensus, which is okay. Iโ€™ve come to the conclusion that weโ€™ve done our best to outline our positions and from here on out, what's left is for those future readers of this thread to formulate their own opinions (and share if they like). I would have hoped this could have been an /r/changemyview but I donโ€™t think weโ€™re going to get there.

        2. Are you being intentionally obtuse or is this just who you are? The only order Lee Baek Ho gave her was resurrect Bjorn when he dies and don't tell him you have the stone. Which order of Bjorn's does she ignore to carry this order out? Did he give her specific instructions to just let him die? Does he tell her to divulge all of her secrets? At no point does she blatantly ignore what Bjorn tells her to do. If anything, she wants to be everything Bjorn needs. You trying to make this into a black and white issue, instead of the gray that it is, is why nobody can agree with anything you're saying.

          1. i will say, we technically dont know if there was something else or not, i cant deny the chance that Misha is still hiding something she was asked to do by Baek hoo but maybe did or didnt do. since even Bjorn said he couldnt help but think there was something more. I would like to hope that was all, but as of yet, we at least cant discount the possibility of there being more being left unsaid as of yet
            0
          2. Ahahahaha, you still want to pretend that simps don't deny she's a traitor? Now do you see why I'm aggressive? So you not understand why I think these people are pathetic? It wasn't even an hour before Alex came in on his horse to knight for Misha and completely prove you wrong. Admit it, simps are disgusting.

          4. I love how Ashlen said there wasn't anyone denying Misha was a traitor, yet here you come to immediately prove him wrong. The betrayal is the order to keep a secret from Bjorn. That's it. Black and white. Don't do that and there's no betrayal. How can anyone in the party ever trust her again in the future. Even if she never lied again, she's shown she can't be trusted so why should they?
            0
          5. why does everyone see my very clearly female name and then call me a guy. Youre just an asshole wow. you also directly said she could be redeemed in your other comment and now say she cant be ever trusted again. Youre truly just a troll. Blocking you.
            0
          6. So every parent is betraying their child when they tell them little white lies to keep them safe? Did Bjorn ever tell her specifically not to follow any orders Lee Baek Ho gave her? Is she following any orders that would put Bjorns life at risk? Is Misha just Bjorn's slave who has to follow his every command? Is she not allowed to make her own decisions based on her own thoughts? Should Bjorn just put a leash on her so she can't step out of line? Bruh you're literally acting 179 degrees right now
            0
          7. its not worth it. This Chris person is clearly a troll, theyve contradicted themselves more than once, just block and move on
            0
          8. Nah I don't think they're trolling lol. Maybe in the closet? They seem to have never interacted with a woman before
            0
          9. who knows, whatever theyve gone going on, they will have to figure it out for themselves, they can be as angry as they want
            0
          10. Now whoโ€™s being obtuse? Misha isnโ€™t his child so there are different expectations with what you expect from someone in your party, and a very clear expectation is to not make deals with someone from another party that you arenโ€™t allowed to tell your leader or party about. Thatโ€™s very clearly a reasonable expectation to have in a party. Just like he hasnโ€™t explicitly stated that they canโ€™t steal from each other then abandon the party. "Well Bjorn didnโ€™t say I canโ€™t steal all of our money then leave so itโ€™s not a bEtrAyAl, hahaha.โ€ What a pathetic argument. Itโ€™s also arrogant to assume you couldnโ€™t be taken advantage of or manipulated by Lee, whom sheโ€™s been with for years at this point. She knows what heโ€™s capable of and chose to trust him anyway.
            0
          11. MISHA ISNT HIS CHILD SO WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO TELL HIM EVERYTHING SHE DOES IF IT LITERALLY DOES NOT AFFECT HIM AT ALL? No but honestly. Her having the stone. How does that affect him? Like I said. She's not his slave. She doesn't have to treat him like her master. He's her leader and companion and love and she's going to let her emotions dictate how she's going to stand beside him. Honestly. Everything you say. Just makes it seem more and more like you've never had a real life relationship at all. Or ever been a part of a team. You have no clue how interpersonal relationships work.
            0
          12. This is what I mean, youโ€™re literally incapable of making a single argument to contend with mine. The betrayal is that Baek-Ho told her to lie to Bjorn and Co. This is what you continue to avoid because you canโ€™t make any arguments. She was ordered to lie to her team by another team leader. Thatโ€™s the betrayal. Stop pretending you donโ€™t see this point because it completely deflates the view you have of Misha. Second argument is why should the team or Bjorn ever trust Misha again if sheโ€™s not willing to admit this? You simps keep ignoring this. That very much DOES affect Bjorn and the rest of the team, but sure keep ignoring these arguments and cuddle your Misha pillows. Contend with those arguments or admit that you have none.
            0
          13. โ€œHe saidโ€ฆ if you found outโ€ฆ something worse would happen to youโ€ฆโ€ yup that sounds like Lee Baek Ho telling Misha to lie and not just a blatant fucking threat you fucking retard. So since that's not Lee Baek Ho โ€˜tellingโ€™/โ€™orderingโ€™ her to lie to Bjorn, then that would mean it's not a betrayal and is instead a fucking coercion you dimwitted fucking loser. Why should they trust Misha? You act like she's scum of the earth now? Like how many woman have rejected you for you to act like this big of a faggot. Until the text says Bjorn feels betrayed, then he's not betrayed. Also don't even bother replying. I can't handle talking to faggots like you.
            0
          14. This is exactly the type of response I would expect from Misha simps. There you go everyone. This is what your side reduces to. This person is such an emotional wreck that he doesnโ€™t even understand he made my point for me. If he threatened her to do it (which he assumes is what he meant and not some prophetic warning) whatโ€™s to stop him from continuing to do so? He can make any demands from now on with this same threat in mind which means they actually shouldnโ€™t trust her. Which he avoided arguing, lol. This is how simple you simps actually are to predict. He didnโ€™t even give an answer to why she should be trusted going forward because you all know that you have none. P A T H E T I C.

Heโ€™s just not able to see/treat his relationship with her the same way right now. But letโ€™s be real, Bjorn tends to bottle up and compartmentalize his feelings, which is how he was able to remain so โ€œbusinesslikeโ€. Our boy is still just as emotionally immature as he was when he was with his exgf. I hope they revisit this, as thereโ€™s still a lot left unsaid and unresolved. 1. no theres another island remember, when they looked at the map, they mentioned there was another smaller island marked on the map besides the ones weโ€™ve already seen, plus they never fully explored tree island also, so theres more to do still besides those, tbh i wonder if weโ€™re even going to see all of the basement F1 this time around, theyve been down here along time, so i wouldnt be surprised if Bjorn heads out back to the city soon, now that things have mostly settled and Bjorn is seemingly in more of a controlling position with the Chief and Him, maybe he decides to only do specific stuff and then leave, Giant Island was marked as the portal downwards to basement F2, so i could see that island being put on hold until next trip to the basement, since im sure the moment the portal opens, Bjorn would want to enter it, so could see him wanting to go back and upgrade and properly prep, not to mention that i doubt the expedition force would really allow Bjorn and co to go down, on paper, they are on a rescue mission for him, and going deeper is kind of counter intuitive, so maybe bjorn does everything else with their help, plus that ominous comment from the Chief about having only been there for roughly 100 days, and not knowing anything yetโ€ฆ.. that makes it sound like theres something that will happen at some point, some fixed or timed event maybe? so there could be some form of time line that Bjorn has to work under, hopefully the chief tells us what that is

True Amelia is such a great Woman, I personally see her more as a sister comrad tho. But I wouldn't mind getting a Harem Ark in this light novel. Even though I am not the biggest fan of Harem.

    2. I honestly thought Bjorn was going to tell her about the vision the goddess showed him and how she was heartbroken with she used the stone on him

      1. yea she could be but honestly we know for sure she loyal to bjorn lee is strong misha knows first hand from traveling with him of course she would be worried for bjorn safety people being upset about what misha did does not make to much sense since bjorn literally just lied to his entire team to protect them and he has been doing it the entire series misha was never best girl for me because im a raven, aynar lover but damn lmao misha did the exact same bjorn doing

        1. I been saying this too, the ppl mad at Misha are pretty hypocritical at not also being mad at Bjorn for allll the secrets heโ€™s been keeping from them, for their safety or not. His frenemyship witj Baek-ho, this temp alliance with the chief (and the true nature of it), him knowing the identities of Fox (Versyl) and Goblin (Sven), all the game knowledge he's keeping from Raven who would literally die for even a sliver of it, the fact that Misha hurt him deeply those years ago after their night together and how willing he was to be more than just comrades with her, his evil spirit natureโ€ฆ the list goes on.

      2. From her response, I think sheโ€™s hiding her feelings if anything. I think she wanted Bjorn to open up emotionally so she could too. Except he was very business like and cordially cold, which didnโ€™t leave much room for her to share her emotions. Which to be honest, speaks well of the author to be able to convey these subtleties

    2. The Village chief said previously that he opened the portal to escape the floor in the past but wasn't able to leave because he was a Monster back then. so it should be possible. He is probably talking about the fact, that the floor js may bigger and harder to clear than one might think after 100 Days. They might actually need to go to Basement floor 2 before leaving the Labyrinth

      1. i took that comment as indication of something to come, some event or something that may be timed somehow, the specific focus on time theyve been there makes me feel like the Chief knows about something and was using their entrance as a way to estimate something, whats coming? who knows. i dont think its anything that prevents them leaving, since even the Chief said he didnt know when Bjorn would leave, only that he would one day. so that could imply Bjorn has the potential to be down there an indeterminate amount of time. So personally, i think its another event like the rainy season type deal. Maybe a bigger and tougher occurance that only happens every now and then, maybe bosses will rain down instead of normal monsters, or maybe the rainy season escalates rather than drops off with time as has been shown to be the case. I just think something is coming, I think its something Bjorn can overcome and deal with also, but i do think something dangerous will happen that the Chief is hinting at
