The “chief” mistake seems like part of the story, not a typo. It seems like the high priest is the only one that caught it though. His mental control being the weakest means he's likely going to be ridden with paranoia.
Could the mental control mean that the original personalities are bleeding through? It would make for a better narrative in that case. Like when games don't give the choice to do something the character wouldn't do.
If they’re all losing self control, I’m really worried for Mr no-mental-resistance priest. And looks like erwin/witch is entirely unaffected. I’m curious as to the nature of her powers – what makes her immune to monster aggro and allows her to control forsaken ones. It seems like she is immune to the effect of the demon realm – perhaps her powers either come from here or are the anti-thesis to here?
He said Chief, but at the very least he might be able to play it off as “Saintred is the chief of this operation" even though anyone who knows him would say it's bull
