  1. Since Iโ€™m getting close to catching up to the latest chapters I was wondering if anyone had recommendations of what read next?

    Any suggestions appreciated

  2. Amelia once again proves she is a G by not only being alive, but also being the only person to wake up on her own, and not only not need rescuing, but also map out the majority of the place on her own. Quite fitting of the title Search Team Captain.

Man Bjorn is really sentimental, almost tearing up after seeing Amelia alive. You can really feel that heartfelt moment before his self-consciousness kicks in and he gets stupid again.

And Bjorn finally gets to use the keycardโ€ฆ I feel like this is going to be some hidden control area, maybe with levers and buttons to control the conveyor belts or something. Thatโ€ฆ or it could be prison everyone is being stored in. Then again, prisons are usually not on top floors, so maybe not?

  3. Ahhh, the chapter flew by way to short. I am glad that Amelia is safe. This would've been such a lazy way to kill her off. Saying that I do think some of the people may have died but probably 0 of the main Team.

    1. It would be sort of realistic as well, it was said plenty of times that in the Labyrinth, monsters is only one reason explorers dies, the rest is mostly dumb luck

      1. 1. I lover her character so I am glad to see her alive and without changes (hope so)2. Youโ€™re right, the death itself is dumb but realistic and the author could focus more on how Bjorn is gonna need a lot of time to process everything. Some day one of the main crew has to die and Bjorn has to go through a whole personality and mental health arc. I still think itโ€™s too early for that tho. They are about to reveal a HUGE plot for the story line and if someone dies it will probably be at the very end, probably with the portal to raphdonia already open

        1. His whole personality changed after the death of dwalki so we already had that happen.

          1. I am not sure if I can agree with that. The circumstances would be completely different. Bjorn is way stronger and the leader now. He grew close with all of em. Way closer than some rookie mage could ever tho. If one of his team would die due to royals he would probably start a rebellion without being ready yet

          2. I think we are down playing the death of dwalki here there were quite a few scenes were they referenced his death and he still doensโ€™t wanna talk about it. He was his first comrade to die and it had a huge impact on him. He swore to kill vagos after that and even adapted his build for the fight. In the fight against vagos he wanted to get his revenge but he just finished him off.

          3. Youโ€™re right with that. He got hit with dwalkis death but he was able to control his emotions into rage & revenge against Lagos because quite frankly it was his fault dwalki died. But what happens if that happens again without it being someone's else fault, who is he gonna blame? Probably himself & i think it would lead to a proper depression phase kinda like Edwin had at the start when she thought Bjorn was dead. (Definitely not that bad tho)

          4. I absolutly see your point, but as of right now i dont see the author going into that direction when it comes to his close comrades. We had these moments with the real floor boss and then this now with Amelia. I think the major plot we are getting for now is just all of the backstory of the labyrinth and the king and that is enough for now. But that is just my opinion

    2. They still have the Stone of Resurrection correct? I feel like that item has still an effect

      1. yeah but the stone takes all of their memories, so its not really them coming back, its more like someone who looks the same, its the coming back wrong trope thats often used, and i think if its not a main team member, Bjorn isnt going to bother using that item on them since he couldnt get any info that way, and i dont think the author would kill someone who matters to the main plot off screen only to revive them with no memories. Wait. Hamsiki has no memories of his past before a certain point. Before i had taken that as him being made by the Labyrinth but now we know he lived here or existed here, and that his memories were altered. And we saw what looked like him in the History Rift, and he seemingly had a history there relating to the Empire or at the least, the world that was present then. Couldโ€ฆ. Could Hamsiki have died in the ancient past? and been revived by the Earth Witch with a process like the resurrection stone? If the labyrinth can make that item, then theres little reason to think that someone with Admin privilege wouldnโ€™t also be able to use a similar ability. And it could explain why Hamsiki has no memories other than fragments. Cause from what Bjorn has said, he knows it takes memories cause of the way it functioned in game, and often, there has been more nuance from the game effects to the real versions of those effects, with typically more far reaching results and nuance to things, so is it possible that, while all the memories are taken, in real life, someone can potentially recover fragments like we see happening to Hamsiki?
