This Director guy seems to have known the โCenturionโ (aka original pilgrim that took the name Dreadfear). Does that mean the Director was also a pilgrim, or a member of the Empite?
Also interesting is Bjorn likening the conveyor belt puzzle to the puzzle on the 10th floor.
Additionally thereโs an important distinction made between The (earth) witch, and the witches which โappearedโ in the world and created monsters.
Lastly, which witch made Marx/Hamsiki? In the RPG rift, Bjorn and co were in a story set when the witch was young, originally before she manifested her full powers. If thatโs the case, Hamsiki might have been created by another witch?
i assume a member of the Empire since he said that pantelion was an Empire Facility capturing the monsters made by the witches and other peoples they couldnt legally catch before, so it seems like a brutal Empire Science Experiment base, also, im pretty sure that the Empire may have just decided that alot of monsters were Witch based in origin, cause we have to remember that Mr Vamp was called a Witch made monster at first too, but was revealed to be created by the karui Cult, so how many of these Monsters like Marx/Hamsiki WERE actually made by Witches, how many were made by Karui Cult, and how many just existed and were Beings that rejected the Gods, like Rift Hamsiki mentioned, plus the record fragments mean that even if the Earth Witch was Young in that Rift and met the Rift Hamsiki, she could still go to the past and meet/create Hamsiki in theory, there is Time Travel in this plot to consider
thinking on the Crown and its ability to block all mental Effects, COULD it have stopped the effects caused by the Malignent Gene? if its a genetic effect and imposed via a physical means, then immunity to Mental effects and interference may not be enough to block it.
Its possible that Genetic effects are imposed via different stats and canโt be blocked via mental means. And if this is the case, and the Crown was placed on Mr. Vamp as some have suggested, we could, in theory, find out some more about the control thats imposed on the Monsters. As they are Created beings at this stage, similar to the Barbarians and other races, they may also have Malignent genes or other genetic factors that allow the Labyrinth and the Primary Admin to control them and their behavior. Bjorn mentioned that the Vampire seemingly was Patched in Real Time and stopped from talking to him again, and if the Primary Admin DOES have some form of Genetic control over the Monsters, it may be that the Crown cant free them.
Though, this is all just a theory as of now, and its still possible that genetic control also could be resisted with the Mental effect block, but i just thought it was a worthwhile Idea to share, as it seems like a possible interpretation
So what happens if bjorn's puts the crown on the vampire when it he meets him again. Whatever was affecting his mind shouldnโt work if he's wearing the crown right?
Ok absolutely crazy theory – The labyrinth is the witchโs land of dawn, where the dead souls of people/monsters go. Since Marx asked to forget everything if he ever entered the land of dawn.
No idea how and why it connects to Raphdonia though. Perhaps theyโre entering the world of the dead?
i mean, there were already theories back during the Rift Archive section that the souls and Minds of these people were being stored here for some reason, and if this is truly a land for the souls of the dead, then there must be an end goal for them, cause i think youre close, but i think this isnt the true land of Dawn as the witch intended it, I think it may be a prototype, OR incomplete, one or the other, since if it was truly an ideal paradise, the people wouldnt be used as monsters and bosses and controlled, so if this WAS intended as the Witchโs land of dawn, something may have gone wrong, or something may have gotten in that wasnt supposed to, corrupting and twisting it from its original purpose, or maybe it was never completed in the first place, and now just runs on the bones that were placed but never completed. Since it just doesnt feel like a true paradise as the Land of Dawn seems to be supposed to be.Their minds are sealed and they are used as weapons and creatures of killing, rather than reviving them and letting them live in peace, so maybe it was Co-opted by something else? Im not sure what it was, but something went wrong with the intended purpose behind it I think, and whatever that something is, maybe its sealed behind the Abyss Gate
One interesting thing to note is that the 8th floor is called the land of dawn (went here during the expedition arc) and is a safe zone in the labyrinth (no monsters outside of rifts)
Ehmโฆ how is it a crazy theory? It is kinda implied in this chapter, lol.I would have called it crazy have you said the same thing 20 chapters ago, maybe? ๐
Finally some answers, but in this story you can't trust these people easily, if he can be called a person at allโฆ
Maybe, seeing as Hamsiki left the library, he wants to do the same thing? Don't tell me he wants to possess Bjorn or any of his comradesโฆ I have had enough of that with the village chiefโฆ
i feel like the author wont repeat the same thing in the same arc, i have more faith in them than that haha, but i am curious how this guy is trying to trick Bjorn, caues there has to be some kind of trick
thats alot of lore. So Hamsiki did die, like i thought last chapter, but it seems it wasnt a resurrection stone, but some other similar process, and the memory loss was requested instead of a side effect. also we found the Factory staff, and they do know Hamsiki! Or Marx as we know his original name to be now. I also wonder how many of the โmonsters made by witchesโ were truly made by witches and which ones were made by the influence of Karui, like Mr. Vamp, who we know was turned by the Karui Cult
this guy also seems Sus as hell, like Bjorn says, he is calling himself a Director, and seems to be the one behind this all. But also, he admits to being a researcher at the original Pantelion, and that they conducted Brutal experiments there. He calls himself a Pitiable soul and that he was given a chance for redemption by the Witch, but also that Time changes thingsโฆ. which could be taken as whatever wish he made then is no longer what he wants, OR could it be that insteadโฆ.
โฆ.he no longer supports the Earth Witch and her goals? Could he have decided to work against it? and if so, how difficult would it become to finish the Archives if the Admin of this 7th Archive is potentially against their completion?

Love how flexible Bjornโs thinking is. Canโt trust himโฆoh I want that so whatever.
The pace of the story seems to be picking upโฆ how much is left? Loving it btw

Thatโs a big chapter.
