Might just be me been a Terry Pratchett fan, but the lack of colour could be to do with the removal of magic?
We know that everyone is a magical being to some extent in this world, barbarian hearts are literal magic, no colour, no magic, no life? Did someone loot the “essence” of the planet?
tbh i wouldn’t be shocked to see a boss pop out at some point, especially given there was a system prompt stating “You have entered a Forbidden area” and if we take that from a game approach, if the area is forbidden but access is still possible, it could be a time based thing, and if youre out there long enough, the boss appears and attacks you and kills you or drives you to leave, as a means to enforce the forbidden part, like how some games have hidden enemies or cutscenes that are triggered if you cheat somehow, but the “cheat” in this instance would be accessing the area beyond the walls
Man I really do feel for the GM now… practically kidnapped by Bjorn, and somehow still feels more free than he was before
Also LOL @ Baek Ho, etching his name in the wall like a kid 😅. Also with that name drop, I do think they’ll run into each other at some point. Really curious how GM will react…
I think they need some Capri sun for that sea-view… (their 90s commercials…) I wonder if it’s some sort of petrification, or something else? I doubt Bjorn or GM would be keen to see what happens if you make contact with the Grey though. It seems like there might be a region around Raphdonia that might be “safe” but outside of that, the world is condemned? Curious and* curiouser…
what if the gray region is where the original bodies of the boss monsters are because there entire goal is to destroy the world thats why noark had to flee because they ran into one of them also lee baek ho is funny as shit for that
it could also explain why noark opened access to the 7th floor specifically. if portals are in the cooresponding real location outside the walls, and some areas are still and grey, then its possible there are portal stones for all floors and areas of the labyrinth, but some areas are greyed out and inaccessible, meaning that the 7th floor portal that Gavis opened for Noark could have been the only option for a point of entry at this time

yea this is insane what if theres a monster like in the basement floor here to sweep the land and make sure there isnt anything outside
