Its good that the rope was cut. If it wasn't they wouldn't have been able to climb up the stairs infinitely to get the secret piece they'd have actually found the entrancd right?
No one has confirmed they found the same note either, its just assumed there is one note.
This doesn't really make sense. How were they lured here if they were teleported there randomly? Did the perpetrator know they would run into the dragon? Did they know they would come up with the mad teleport plan? Then did they know the dragon would counter it only for the mages to power through and cast it anyway? Then they knew where they would be teleported to, even though it was freaking random!? Author better have a good explanation for this bullshit because it's starting to read like a bad fanfic now.
I think thereโs someone there that triggered the monument. Remember, they passed by here before, but couldnโt figure out how to activate it. I think someone wanted them to, but they just left. So when dragon teleports them, they concoct a plan to lure them back here, and activate the monument. That someone would have to have been monitoring them, and be capable of covert operations. Soโฆ either one of them, or it would have to be someone of great ability, like Gavis
But the notes only work if they're already split up. If they were randomly teleported, then they could have ended up meeting before they found a single note. This doesn't make sense as it stands now. This is like an Aizen level of โall according to plan.โ
If the person was monitoring them throughout the journey, theyโd know that they were split up. It would take someone powerful enough to not be detected by the Ruin Scholar or anyone else, which is why I suspect seรฑor Gavis. That or itโs one of them and they are lying about not putting up the marker (but I really doubt this)
Even in this case, those notes were placed everywhere. So if someone did this to lure them, they would have had to: 1. locate all of the randomly dispersed members or place the rags everywhere. 2. Be fast enough to place them everywhere if they didnโt predict the random teleport and placed them reactively to the teleport as you suggested.3. Not be detected by some of the strongest players in the world while doing this at ridiculous speeds. If this was the case and this was done out of reaction vs prediction then that just makes whoever did it god-tier powerful. That type of power spike isnโt realistic, even for Gavis. It would actually be stupid as literally nothing would be able to even stall them. At least with whatโs knows now. Very possible that the members have some sort of trackers on them or something that could explain some of this at least. Thatโs why I really want answers to this, itโs not something you can just gloss over. If in the next chapter, Gavis comes out and reveals himself to be Karui then it would make sense. That's how ridiculous that power difference would be
I hear you. Hopefully we'll get some in the coming chapters! Bjorn and co seem to be wisening up to there being something fishy going on, so itโs likely going to be something explored. Plus the mini-arc is called Mystery, so I'm hopeful weโll get some sort of answers. Then again, the last mini-arc was called Butterfly and we only really got an implied reason for the title (Jayna being the butterfly mask)
I suspect so too. It seems like itโs right up his alley, moving people like chess pieces. Also, highly suspicious that the rope to get back just happens to get cutโฆ on top of all the other suspicious things
Did Hans've written the note ? ๐ค

I feel like the scout isnโt really deadโฆ.
So each of them passed by the same marker, even though they were all (supposedly) scattered? This reeks of mimics or something in that vein, to me.

I donโt think this is Auril Gavis. Itโs likely another other worlder playing a prank or something similar to the lab scientists
All of this screams auril gavis
Why are you surprised? You were lured into this whole thing at the start! Why wouldnโt there be anyone here?
