  1. I'm surprised people are so upset about the vice captain living. Bjorn himself had the vampire essence that kept him alive as long as his heart was intact, and Abman had the numbered item that made him immune to damage when he went down. It's entirely plausible that such a powerful figure has an essence or item that keeps him alive.

  2. To be fair, I still don't believe that Bjorn crushed his head. The part that he survived is not that surprised, marquis can die and return to the palace and also that warrior. It would be very strange if the right hand of the noarks couldn't survive a death or 2. The king himself is almost a immortal too

  3. This is stupid. Like many have said this is dumb. Heโ€™s killed full on tanks with solo blows to the head. He did multiple blows with his damned mace.

The only saving grace to this would be that they are all zombies being controlled by the actual people that clown has created for them.

Even with that said, the quickest way to kill a zombie is via a headshot and their reactions to clown possibly being a rat just makes this less so.

    1. To be fair, the novel has already introduced many ways to avoid instant death – the knight of light's reset, the marquis's ability, and regal vagosโ€™ second heart to name a few. While surprising, it is not foreignEven in-story, everyone expected Demon Eye to have died and was shocked he was alive after Bjorn's intended beating. Hopefully we'll find the reasoning later, and itโ€™s explained in a way that makes sense, in-story.Bjorn could prob figure it out too, with more time and clues, given his game knowledge

  4. โ€ฆ..I'm honestly disappointed in the author. Yes, by the standards of this world, him surviving is possible. However, by fantasy world standards, so is everything. So every time you bend the rules to have your cake and eat it too you lose credibility. Lose enough and people just stop reading.

  5. yeah, something REALLY bad will definitely happen very soon, we all can see it coming, the Marquis is pulling all the strings he can to stall for time for as long as possible.

    1. there is probably a reason and it is not that unlikely something is keeping him alive. Id wait for a conclusion before judgement
