Bjorn is smashin’ heads left and right… probably only noark ones but… maybe not only those…. Still makes more sense than maiming or crippling demon eye phisicaly, as a pot might fix that, reduce his forces while not fully antagonizing the situation is his course of action… I bet bjorn is gonna blurt something like “to “question/torture” theres no need to have the 17 of them live… 2 or 3, icluding demon eye should suffice”
You know, in long stories like these, the whole “ill regret letting him leave” moments can end up annoying me more then anything else. I love our barbarian boi so much for just committing to killing (or at least maiming) a schemer before things go Uno Reverse

If I was Bjorn, I would tear off all their limbs and then proceed to cauterize their wounds to prevent death by blood loss before allowing them to be transferred. They would be greatly hindered from escaping being torsos and all (turning them into Bob Oblongs lol). They’d still be alive to torture for information and the royal family probably wouldn’t be able take issue with it either.
Before being taken for questioning. I would also stop by the church and have all off their essences removed. I’d genuinely be surprised if that wasn’t part of routine punishments prior to torture of criminals on their level.
They didn’t really go into depth about the surrender process like the cuffs they used were made from a material that hinders essences stats, passive/active abilities and their item boxes being seized.
Re: the church, from what i remember, essence removal requires the subject to be voluntary (the church provides the medium, and the person chooses which of their essences to be removed).About the surrender process, i think you’re right – i remember when Bjorn got detained before, they had something similar. Plus it just makes sense for people as powerful as them. Though I’m curious what they’d use for a priest of karui. For a mage, probably a mana supressant?
I’m positive this was a false mission now. They never planned to ‘find’ noark. The exchange between kings knight and vice commander reminded me of how Bjorn and village chief talk to eachother. They’re definitely trying to stall Bjorn.
I feel like it was a time killer mission for Bjorn and co, but Bjorn failed successfully, lol.Question is, was the Marquis in on it, or were these Orcules guys just crafty enough to infiltrate his home on their own?Also, I think Bjorn would have been fine with have his title stripped so he can go back to leading his team… maybe that was one of his initial goals?
