I kinda really hope the person trapped is the king. If so and Bjorn frees him, that will make the king indebted to him (at least for now).
Bjorn already has favor with a number of the royal faction: Saintred/Village chief and captain of the 1st Royal Knight Corps, Knight Gramps, captain of the 2nd Royal Knight Corps, Kyle Pevrosk, captain of the Royal Mage Corps, and his deputy, Raven, and Duke Kalleanus, the next in line after the Marquis. Lots of big names in his back pocket
Seems plausible, however:(I) Twenty-ish years ago, someone already discovered this cube (mentioned at the round table), and(II) At the current-timeline roundtable, someone mentioned they’ve met the king (but it’s also possible they’ve met a fake king)
at this point I wouldn't be surprised if the king is the floor lord of the tenth floor who escaped somehow. and iirc butterfly said the illness was a ruse? but that's super smart! then he'd be the shadow king
Lol, that would be a wild theory, for sure (though according to what we've seen thus far, monsters can’t escape the labyrinth). Speaking of the labyrinth, I'm still curious at how Royal blood is needed to open the Labyrinth portalAlso butterfly saying it was a ruse could lend to the idea that the king is trapped instead… if orcules top brass had insiders in the royal faction as they seem to do, it would tie nicely together
