[Agent of the stars] wasnโt it the spell Bjorn asked the archibishop to use before entering the rift in B1 ? (and he answered that it would be difficultโฆ) Bjorn probably know what to do with that โnewโ spell ๐
Finally caught up on over two months of chapters. It seems like Mr. Bear, Sven, and the battle mage will live? Love seeing Sven see Mr. Bear show up and be completely confused by his build. Rotmiller might ask the Goddess to exchange his life life force to Bjorn? Kind of interesting who might be the remaining 3 to die if the District 7 people seem safe. If Aures was saying the truth that he should go to District 7 over the sanctuary due to better outcome, only leaves Rotmiller, Auyen, and maybe Versil to die?
About that warning, part of me feels like instead of Bjorn saving those he went to save, I feel like the ones who will die are the ones who are near wherever he decided to go. Mainly because he is the primary target, so its more likely to have collateral damage with attacks against And yes, that Bear and Paladin combo rescue was awesome
I think that was intentional – he was always the one guy who ran away so much that Bjorn used him as a run-away-meter. But for him to stay and make a stand is such a contrast, its really a huge growth in characterBut yes, I agree ๐
considering Rotmiller is saying the same words Parav said when trying to activate the spell to the half dead Bjorn, i am guessing he was also granted it and itโs some kind of sacrificial miracle ?
Waitโฆ does that mean the prophecy of the betrayal had Rotmiller as the focal point? And if so, what/who was he betrayed by? Does that noark guy who killed himself count? And what is it that Brown knows he has to do now?
Was it defined that focal points of the prophecy are evil spirits? Or is it just the ones with no names?Tbh I dont think thereโs a high chance of this, but the part that got me entertaining this idea is the part about him knowing what to do afterwardโฆ it could be that only that part is pertaining to him. The stone was heavily damaged/redacted, so its hard to say
AND HOLY FARTING SHIRTBALLS! So glad the goblin managed to receive merciful preservation and epic level ZERO holy abilities, but somehow also managed to maintain the meme of being a weak pathetic cowardly creature barely eking an existence in a cruel world. Such powerful storytelling.
Rotmiller is such a good character. I really hope we donโt lose himโฆ But It reallllly seems like it ๐
Seconding this, they are both great characters.Iโm also wondering if Bjorn had gone to district 7 instead of the sanctuary, would Sven have chosen to resist his โintuitionโ aka karui?
Heโs talking to Bjorn saying out loud what Rot thinks Bjorn would say to him and talking himself into either betraying Bjorns trust with his next decision or sacrificing himself like Dwalki to buy him more time to recover.

I really hope Sven keeps his newfound courage
