I have seen a couple of my sub theories in the group comments already. I agree with @Lampion that would be the most convenient route. They were probably mid fight and ended up getting sucked out with them.
My main theory is that they got transported to that new island that Bjorn unlocked by receiving the lord of tears pity and essence. It’s likely got its own time zone similar to the basement because it acts as an official door to the basement as the 6th floor is an ocean/island map like the basement floor. Either there’s a proper door that leads down that way or the only way to access it is to flip a boat over like in pirates of the Caribbean. Or maybe there’s another sentient being that lives there similar to hamster.
The main reason I don’t think their dead is that Bjorn would have recognized his teammates equipment even if damaged by the guitygos.

I dont think we're touching time travel again, but the basement, or a royal/special portal are valid options for why they maybe didn’t return. Arcane intervention is also possible.

They’re totally at the Floor 1 Basement, it only makes sense. If Aynar and Misha were able to survive alone for a good bit of time, there’s no way that Raven, Sven, Erwen, and Amelia died while together. Floor 1 Basement is outside of Labyrinth time, it’s the dumping ground for a Dimensional Collapse, and we just found out a new way Bjorn can get there.
Well… i believe the author might go that route as is more convoluted than they just being trapped… and is easier to solve too, and return to a status quo so to speak… as with the basement we’ll need to wait for the labirinth to reopen again, after the calamity it should take a while, then they need to open the path to the basement, which goes against the royal family decree, and after they manage to enter and find the clan, there is the issue of returning without the stone, and that ricardo guy… while if ruinzenes just managed to set them out a “ messenger” could just arrive saying something like “your friends are outside of the wall with us” or something along those lines… so yeah I find it quite plausible to be the authors way of subverting expectations, taking in to account that almost everyones first thought was the basement…. Now explaining why? is the convoluted part, and is easy to write some shenanigans and contrivances for it to work which I believe is the specialty of this author when he writes him self in to a corner…
I feel like they need to bring a farming kit or something. The basement floor has no known exit at the moment, and if i remember correctly food was the limiting resource. Didn’t that transmutative necklace produce bread?
True, they could use a dimensional wizard to leave, unless there is some restrictions as it is a unique floor. I was also under the impression they could only use said spell once, and given recent event I doubt they are common. Bjorn could definitely use his fame to enlist a dimensional mage, but I think it would be more of a last resort escape route. If the goal is to completely explore the underground floor a stable food source is needed as they have no idea how long it would take, and they wouldn’t get kicked out when the labyrinth closes. I feel like we would also be stuck there for something like 50 chapters.
But we’re not sure if they even can farm in the underground, but true it would be a good idea for them to prepare something like this. In the worst-case scenario they can eat monster meat 🤔 Either way I don’t think the author will bother focusing on the farming side, he will probably go with the convenient “they had a lot of jerky stocked up”. Though the more interesting question is how they will get out this time 🤔

I mean raven needs to be alive so the “vision” of her betraying bjorn realizes… unless author forgot and retcons himself… still, killing everyone offscreen is the best way to loose most of your readers, and I dont believe the author would be that obtuse… but sometimes this guy writes the most stupid stuff, remember dollfucking bjorn, so lets cross our fingers this is not among “those times”.
Sven parab couldn't have died that easily with the goddess protection, so from that conjecture if he's not back from the dungeon it must mean they are stuck in the basement floor
I have a strong feeling the goddess of fate intervened again when Parab was in danger and sent them to the basement floor or something, feels a little abrupt to kill off that many without Bjorn being physically present to it happening

2) There is conflict, so that’s good. Conflict drives stories. Everyone is interested, because it hasn’t been resolved yet.
3) Didn’t Bjorn get his name on the [stone of achievement?] a second time? That should pop up in the next chapter.

I think it would be bold of the author if he kills off multiple people like this. The one thing I would hate more is if no-one died.
