Ice Rock is a section of the 7th floor, and the negative regeneration only applies in a specific part of Ice Rock. But after everything he's been through, and now this, I doubt he'll ever go back to Ice Rock willingly anyway lol
Tbf, he wont die outright, it will just be really difficult now that he's not a full resistance tank anymore. With regen disabled, the core of his new mode is moot, so he'll take much more dmg without being able to heal. Still, he'll also do more dmg, so he can survive for a bit with a good team comp.
No, in that area he will probably die. Regen gets reversed into some stat that accelerates the rotting and festering of wounds. If he gets wounded, his wounds will rot in seconds instead of hours.

It seems like the achievement was refusing the Pity mechanic and then getting the essence anyway, not necessarily killing the boss. Won't stop the people of Raphdonia from worshiping Bjorn even more tho. But considering it seems he may actually be legit unkillable while the stakes are active, he is kind of a god at this point
