Waitโฆ could they not have used this necklace in the ice rock to generate bread each time they killed a monster? It would have helped immensely with the food problem they had.
I think so but before they achieved destroying thr noark tower the rest of the mission was uncertain with a possible traitor among them. Plus it would have been a bad move as each time u remove an item it gets closer to breaking while resetting the gacha. Itโd reduce a numbers item to a bread machine hahaha
technically yes, but like, he always had it, if things really came to that, Bjorn could have used that, but also Bjorn is the type to hold out for maximum possible value. He absolutely kept to his principles by doing this
I mean, it should be like a standard item for attempting ice rock as an emergency food option. Not just Bjรธrn but generally, an item that is mostly know for making bread seems like cheating at ice Rock. Sure Bjรธrn would hate wasting that item there, but only he knows the true value and the propper use of that item.
Bjorn found the necklace of the very first Hans he ever ran into, as one of the very first things that he found in the basement. I think that was all the sign we truly needed.
An epic shield. With this he doesn't have to use transcendence on his anti aura ability that often anymore, since single numbered items are indestructible.
It opens up new fighting possibilities for him! Let's gooo.
Chapterโs like this one is one of my biggest problems with this series. Itโs a chapter totally focused on Bjorne anti-luck, only to end with a huge payoff thanks to someone in his party getting lucky. In other words, This chapter couldโve been two sentences: Bjorne puts billions worth of stones into a gacha, and pulls out a god tier shield
I wouldnt even say its in every encounter, the last fight with vagos was pure hardship for example. And the luck is like his reward for pushing throught all of his hardship. Because luck comes to the hardworking. He never once got lucky without hardship. And itโs just like a element to not repeat all the content that would be boring as heโll. If I want to grind I would play games.
dude. Lighten up, just enjoy things. I personally quite like this, and youre entitled to your opinion on the matter, but also, reducing what is very clearly written as a true acceptance of his luck, and in a comedic way, to bad writing is just kind of mean, I think its fun. Not every moment needs to be dark and gritty, a little levity can be great. plus this gives us some background lore which is also enjoyable
Youโre entitled to your opinion as well, and I do enjoy this series very very much. My criticism does not come from a place of dislike, Iโm just tired of all the focus on luck.
I wouldnโt find thereโs too much focus on luck – I think itโs just another part of the elements of the story, and Biorn's character. Remember the Shaman's prophecy? As an element of the story, I find the use of luck as a story device in this novel very creative. Plus, I find it adds a flaw/vulnerablility to our otherwise indomitable MC, making him more relatable and human to us readers.
Aynar is the goddess of luck!
Must be desire sensor at work
This hilarious

LETS GO BJรRN! NUMBER FUCKING 3!
Lmao I love how this world is just messing with this guy just to see him lose his mind
I love how Bjorn is full on self-hypnosis and with teammates wondering exactly how many marbles heโs lost ๐
Bjorn: the sun is beautiful
Team: broโฆ we're in a caveโฆ
Good thing Bjorn hasn't seen a Hans in ages

Bjorn got his end-game shield. He is actually a gacha addict who fancies himself a gambler.
He shouldโve left to her since the beggning
Now imagine if he gave it to aynar and it generated that shield on like the 6th roll or something ๐ญ
EPIC LUCK BATTLES OF HISTORY!!!
Bjorn in full zen flow state
VS
Aynar who truely doesn't care
we need the shield stats!

I knew this was going to happen the moment author began explaining how he achieved transcendence
