I honestly want him to fail to get the essence here and have to get it from a chimera monster later, maybe one with the passive heart of darkness that he used to have from the vampire. Could you imagine, insane immunity to every type of damage with an indestructible shield and when you finally get his health down enough that he should be dead, he won't die unless you destroy his heart
“Immunity to all magic damage” sounds way to broken for a Tier 3 essence. There must be something bad about this as well like a high MP cost per second or a limited duration. On the other hand there is gonna be a interaction with “Transence” (or what ever its called) that is probably gonna make it OP OP
I love how the essences in this novel aren’t just variations of “punch harder” or “bigger magic beam”, but instead sound like actual in-game abilities that you could balance with others
Ngl I know he’s been getting super lucky lately but I do hope Bjorn just gets this essence so we can move on to the next essence plot point, feels like we have known about bellarios for a long time now it would be kind of annoying if it we have to wait another 50 chapters till the next random encounter where he gets it. I want him to start talking about what lvl 2 and lvl 1 graduation essences he needs and actually working towards those/ maybe finding more mutants that he could adapt his build around
Yeah, it would be nice. Still, if he doesn't get it, it's also fine. It's not like he didn't get a power up here, what with the overpowered shield and the massive exp.Alternative, it would be cool if he can farm the items for the next engraving.
i dont think bjorn will get the essence because they habe been too lucky with essences and items since arriving on the basement floor but i hope he gets it anyway
