  2. So the last time a Level 1 monster was taken down, was 40 years before this?? that seems like a bit of a large timeline and i imagine is more just what is publically known, I truly cant imagine that in 40 years, not a single one has been killed, if theyre planning to do this Kashan fight, im sure that Noark, or some secret royal or explorer group has taken one down in that time. Though im sure any field effects would be much worse in combo with the level 1 monsters. Also. Given theres a Basement level, Could there be Level 0 or even Negative level monsters beyond the power of level 1 monsters? theres still B2 and who knows what else down here, so i feel like Level 1 monsters wont be the limit of power for the enemies right? otherwise Level 1 monsters will end up whatever if Bjorn keeps growing at this rate, and then theres no challenge, so just given Bjornโ€™s rate of growth, i think there will end up being monsters beyond level 1 at some point

    1. Yeah. I donโ€™t think the world is that small to cap out at level 1s aswell.

    2. I actually buy the idea that most explorers donโ€™t farm tier 1 monsters, and havenโ€™t in 40 years. Remember that the reason ppl enter the labyrinth is for profit, and it sounds like the risk to reward for tier 1s are a bit too high for the majority of explorers. Unless there is a direct commission for the monster, or the group had a ton of resources and wants to make an accomplishment, it doesnโ€™t sound like something that is normally done, especially with much more profitable options for resources available. They way they talk about tier 1 monsters is in a way that garners a certain level of respect, the only thing close would be the respect floor lords get. The tier 1 monster this group is challenging is technically the glass cannon of its cohort, but is still treated like a behemothโ€ฆ that says something. I think theyโ€™re still going to have a struggle with it, regardless of their preparations. Also Bjorn is a super tank, but even heโ€™s not invincible.I'm hoping Saintred didnโ€™t agree to this with the intention of having Bjorn on the front lines as a way to hopefully eliminate Bjorn. Keeping my eyes peeled..

      2. oh i fully think that the normal people dont fight them, i was specifically saying that i think this being the only kill on a level 1 monster in 40 years wasnt the truth, just the public truth. Like i bet theres been Lee Baek-Hoo, or some other Noark person, or even a high level Royal maybe, who has taken down at least 1 level 1 monster in secret. I more just dont buy that No one, not a player, not anyone, has beat a monster of that level in that long. Absolutely to the public, no one has done so. cause why would they, but i still think theres someone out there who has taken one down in this time.

        1. I donโ€™t see any reason to not publicize defeating a tier 1 monster though – thereโ€™s only benefits to letting people know you accomplished it. Aside from fame, as an explorer, thereโ€™s a chance for better commissions – as a royal, a chance to increase one's honour and respect for the royal family. Also I donโ€™t think Baek-ho could solo a tier 1, or anyone from Noark either. Theyโ€™ve been positioning tier 1 as crazier than the floor lords, and even those guys are treated with reverence. But time will tell I guess

          1. i dont think Baek Ho could Solo either, but we also dont know if theres others on similar level to him who may have been able to help, i could be wrong, but i also think that while under normal conditions, theres not much reason to hide it, but if you get an essence, keeping that as a secret trump card could be huge, and if no one knows you beat it, thats potentially a massive and powerful tool, more just i feel like this world hides the full truth most of the time, so if weโ€™re told one thing is one way, i cant help but question if theres exceptions or anything

    3. Correction: The instance of a 40 man party taking down a Level 1 Monster was 40 years ago. The last time a Level 1 Monster was beaten period is probably much more recent, just not with so few people.

  3. Besides battling a lvl 1 monster, something HAS TO happen during combat to make the following chapters entertaining. Either they explain some unique mechanics for lvl 1 monsters, Bjorn flexes his new op shield, he showcases his new improved tank build with barbarian dragon mode as fanservice for the readers or all together. Thereโ€™s always the option of a plot twist related to Svenโ€™s divine revelation or sth out of the blue but this floor has still a lot of landmarks to clear so I doubt the author will go this route.

  5. I think there might be a chunk of text missing?

The way it is phrased at the beginning it seems like the mage and Bjorn had already being discussing about which to hunt??

  6. Hey guys I used the post on patreon and calculated his stats with gaintification an his strength goes to 2,982 because of the 1.75 boost from primordial cell. No wonder he calls his build a dealer tank.

His physical resistance is at 936 and doesnโ€™t have the same boost. Crazy. We should have seen the third effect of the bol-herchan by now.

  7. Why the hell is this guy caring arround the Helm Bjorn used over 20 years ago. How would he even know that it was Bjorn. Bjorn was like 2y.o back then and I could have been his Dad or another barbarian with similar features but somehow this is still gonna turn out to be a problem. For the Plot ig

-200 Luck stat is cray thooo

So Bjorn gets his luck stats increased for once haha

    1. what i want to know is, since he has this helmet prepped, doesnt that imply that Saintred has been suspecting Bjorn since before they met properly like this, potentially since before Bjorn even timeskipped with the record fragment, since Saintred could have seen him before Bjorn knew to avoid him. And if hes been suspecting Bjorn for a while, there must be a reason since like someone else said, Bjorn was a baby 20 years ago when iron mask was active. The Royals are said to know that Bjorn is an Evil Spirit, and if Saintred doesnt know the full extent of how evil spirits work, maybe he thinks this is some dark magic of the evil spirits, keeping him young looking, or allowing him to do something weird and pull this off, who knows, but its clear that Saintred has suspected Bjorn since before this expedition, otherwise why have this helmet. And i said this a while back, but what better way to frame Bjorn as a traitor than โ€œexposingโ€ him as the Traitor Iron Mask, agent of Noark, and if so, why not slap the evil spirit label on there too, really wipe bjorn out

      1. Just like how he left the clothes behind behind after fighting that level 3 monster before being sent back in time, maybe he left his helmet and clothes were eventually scavenged under Saintredโ€™s orders? Or maybe its just a replica Saintred had made such that he could one day track down the barbarian that shamed him endlessly. Itโ€™s also possible that he is aware of the time travel capabilities of the fragment of records and knows that thereโ€™s a possibility of the same individual appearing with no physical alterations; alternatively essences could give pseudo-immortality.

        1. Saintred definitely thinks that the mysterious helmet guy who kicked his ass have left him his helmet as a challenge. The helmet Sainterd carries is a replica, because he makes his wife wear the real one at night.

          1. It could be that saintred just remembers the man who made him fail at his objective of collecting the fragment of records.

    1. Im guessing after. He doesn't seem the type to scheme and ambush. Heโ€™d probably challenge Bjorn to a 1 on 1 duel.
