It is still dificult to understand why Saintred would still think he is a traitor, even though it has already been revealed by the CHANCELLOR himself that supposedly Bjorn was on a secret mission. He could just use that same excuse. Ask Saintred if he thinks the Chancellor o Minister (wtever) would allow a traitor to become a noble and prepare a celebration for him, even meeting in person. Makes no sense and Saintred would have no way to refute.
Are you saying the royal family is incampable of assessing its own nobles??? That the Chancellor which could be counsidered acting king is also unfit and commited a huge error?? No way jose
Havenโt read the new chap yet, but seeing Saintred is a man of focus (think Liam Neeson Taken), having someone cause him to fail his task/duty and humiliate him would cause him to harbor a massive grudge – one that defies logic. Thatโs probably what led him to never forget the one who caused him all that shame
How can a god damn LIGHT NOVEL be soooo addictive? It never turns out how we expect it to. I mean seriously a god descending to help bjorn now?? Absolut fire. Is the author even human?
well this is interesting. Leatlas showing Bjorn whats about to happen right before it does, so does that mean heโs going to get a chance to somehow talk his way out of this again??? how will Bjorn manage that exactly. Leatlas just seems to have stopped time and is showing Bjorn the future thats literally about to happen, and seems to be about to show Bjorn the past as well, so what he should have done right? but that still doesnt stop the current situation, its not a temporal regression, its just a vision, so what exactly will happen when this ends? Also, this further showcases how important Bjorn is, and we know that Leatlas also knows about the Record Stone, and cause of that, knows that Bjorn is supposed to supposed to open the door to the Abyss one day right? but if she wants to prevent his death, then his survival, as he is now, is important. Which, given that we dont know the side effects of the resurrection stone, makes me further think that a trap is hidden within its use like some people have speculated. Maybe its a reset like a couple people said, or maybe its only for native souls, a restriction that, in the game, wouldnt have mattered cause theyre all natives in the game lore, with no evil spirits existing to cause any issues with said restriction, meaning Bjorn may not even potentially know about such an issue. Or maybe its something else. Whatever it is. the trap must be big enough that Leatlas thinks that, if Bjorn does die and is somehow revived with the stone, then things that need to happen in the future, wont happen however she thinks is best. Now, what defines the best outcome could wildly differ for Leatlas compared to what Bjorn might want, but at the very least, Leatlas seems to have good intentions for Bjorn in all this, or intentions that lead in a similar direction as his desires if nothing else. also, the downsides of this are rather interesting, losing the ability to be healed as well by this specific priesthood feels like it will come to bite him in the ass later down the line. Probably going to finally get a priest in party and they will be a Priest of Leatlas, especially given how much Leatlas seems to value him, along with the continued interaction with them, seems most likely they could join out of anyone, and thus, not near as useful for healing him, the tank, whose healing is often the most important. Besides that is also the line about how, if Bjorn receives divine power in this manner again, his body may collapse. which means Leatlas probably cant intervene directly with Bjorn like this again. Possibly ever. or not without great potential risk to Bjorn himself. But this also presents another issue. this may be true for other gods as well. While the healing of other gods and priests isnt reduced, they still have Divine Power right? and the Collapse of the mortal body statement specifically is just about divine power, So could they also cause issues for Bjorn if they reach out in similar manner? Could Karui cause issues to Bjorn like this?? I know theyre an evil god, but if Karui imparts divine power to Bjorn, could they also potentially harm Bjorn and even kill him? or do the divine powers of other gods not react in that same manner to a mortal body?
Yeah, thereโs also the possibility that the resurrection stone is necessary later too, which is why itโs use now is precluded.Fun thoughts about Karui! I kinda forgot about that sadistic dick haha
i hadnt considered that the stone may be needed for a different moment in time later, thats a good point. And on that note, made me consider if its not even meant for use on Bjorn, maybe Bjorn is supposed to instead use it himself at some point. to save someone who Leatlas feels is absolutely needed later, and so wants to ensure the stone remains for that moment
oh for sure , im pretty sure he will use it at least ones and come back at the time the clan divine artifacts disappeared . my guess is that he was bjorn himself that joink them in the past
Bjorn got plucked from reality and causality by a literal godโฆ and somehow got nerfed as a result (half healing effects).
And I knew Saintred suspected him. Was the only thing that made sense. But what did the chief promise him? I hope we find out.
AND what will be the fate of clan Anabada? Find out next time on Dragon Ba-โฆ Surving the Game ๐

Real talks, if (and when) Bjorn gets out of this pickle, he can consider himself important enough that the gods try to save him. Multiple times. Iโm sure this will be a continuing thread for arcs to come
Yeah man. Bjorn has gotten himself a draconic marking, a leatlas blessing, and is the chief of the barbarian. He effectively has a beastkin and fairy bride each aswell. The man is slowly becoming the avatar of the nonhuman races. The healing debuff is only from Leatlas, but Iโm uncertain if thatโs the only temple with healing capabilities? At least potions function.I think as he listens ahead he will hear that the promise between the two of them was something extremely detrimental to the rest of the corps on the mission. Like he agreed to their sacrifice or something. I think it will be some info that he can blurt out as a statement for Saintred to deny. I think he legit only has one or two sentences to spout before his fate is sealed.
thanks i was asking because the blessing he gets reduces the affects of his healing for that church so i was thinking it might be a different one from the goblins

damn half amount of healing is really badโฆ i guess that in comparison to have 3 of the girls die is nothing tho โฆ thx for the chapter

ah common. Thats what I call a cliffhanger. How am I supposed to sleep now? haha ๐
Groundhog day effect?
I read it too fast, now I have to wait 24h again ๐
Leatlas Church is this the name of the church the goblin is in?
So he really knew Bjorn was in the past!
You can't really underestimate saintred, damn.
Now it's obvious, Bjorn really has to kill this guy and be an enemy of the royals.
And he has to somehow save Raven and Kaislan, I doubt saintred will leave them aloneโฆ
I am willing to bet bit money that Bjorn will be extremely involved with Gods and Leatlas in particular
The highlight of the day is here, thx Hen
