i can’t believe it taken me until now to question why some modern technology didn’t get spread in here . i know that it meant that the person who reveled it would expose themselves as a possessed being but only if like bjorn here still there are ways to make sure it would be anonymous just an anonim letter to the mage tower would have fix the issue . i bet a lot of mages would have give everything for that knowledge so i guess that the royal family always intervened when such interactions accured . but still some technology would have been advantageous even for them ? really curious
its probably alot of stigma and likely i imagine just illegal, and if someone does try, the royals may just stop them, like youre right, there SHOULD be more tech, the fact that there isnt means someone must be suppressing its spread, therefore, given the cultural stigma around evil spirits, their tech would likely also draw fear from the common people, and combine that with the inquisition people we’ve seen a few times, and it may just be blocked by them mostly
To be fair, they do have some decent world tech here – clocks, recording devices, communication devices, propulsion devices, lighting devices, etc. It’s just that most of it relies on magic, mana, or stones. I’d imagine that anything more advanced (cars, planes, blimps, guns, computers, etc) woukd require a commission to design and build, and would be fairly expensive, especially in light of the taxes that would need to be paid every year. Only the real wealthy would be able to afford something like that, and the real wealthy wouldn’t have much need for something like that. They haven’t had much cases of commoners becoming rich or becoming nobles, least yet someone who was an evil spirit with intricate knowledge of other tech, so to me, it makes sense that advanced technology hasn’t been introduced. Any evil spirit born into wealth woukd either have an easy life or want to remain incognito, and anyone with the desire for this would likely not have the means.The suppression theory could still hold, but i’m leaning more towards lack of means/necessity.
So 4 of bjorns comrades know that he is a player/evil spirit: Amelia, Raven, Misha, and Erwin – actually i’m not 100% about Erwin but I recall her being present when Raven found out. I might have to go back and read that part.
Also looks like Raven was enjoying her time with Bjorn again… too bad he doesn’t have much tact when it comes to feelings

He's not as tactless as he let's on, he's just a little bitch when it comes to women. Remember he knew the whole time that Misha loved him, but only acted on it when directly called out by Dwalki. He knows they all have the hots for him.
He’s aware of the situation, but tactless in action – he oblivious to the way he handles it affects the other person (or feels its fine to avoid/ignore).And tbh, I don’t think he really knows they all have a thing for him. He knows Misha for sure, but the others, I think he is willfully ignorant. He thinks Erwin's case is due to obsession stat only, has no idea about Raven or Versyl's affections, nor Ragna's, sees Amelia as a close confidant, and Ravien and Pen as just owing him (yes I think theres something there). He’s a genius at games, and an idiot with the ladies, lol
Yep, i’m excited for her, she’s been such a mature figure (in battle, and in character) from the beginning, but the rest of the team has since caught up. I wonder if her constitution will ever change, she’s been raising herself as a solo rogue, but now that she’s on a team, not being able to receive heals could be a hindrance.
Bjorn will fix that issue as soon as he cleared her name. He will have more than enough funds for some big upgrades after he leaves the labyrinth and has to prepare for the war with noark.I am also excited to hopefully see his last engravings
Hopefully, they do have their growing essence collection. This basement is the game grinders haven for leveling up, so it would be a shame if they didn’t allocate some perfectly tuned essences for an upgraded constitution for her.And yes, hopefully he can get the necessary ingredients here for the engravings too. Save on money rather than having to buy them from the Exchange
also im still halfconvinced that Aynar DID hear bjorn in the dreadfear fight before she died, but also that she just has learned enough to gain the tact to know its not worth mentioning, Bjorn Never Once Betrayed her or mistreated her, even in all that, And tbh, i think it would be really great if Bjorn is still scared of her finding out, only for her to somehow be told it, and just. Not care, in front of him, and say something along the lines of “Bjorn is my Chief! My Comrade! My Friend! He has always cared for me and helped me grow Stronger, I dont get it all, But can he really be called an Evil Spirit? Bjorn is Not Evil!! Bjorn is just Bjorn!!” as she shouts her support.

Like you said, she could very well have boiled it down to – Bjorn is not from here, but he’s not an evil spirit because he’s the greatest barbarian and my friend, so hes a good spirit – type of logical thinking.That or she really doesn’t know, but also doesn’t care to know. When Bjorn asked her, he specified an “Evil Spirit” to which she said the Chief said to kill them. He’s chief now, so maybe things might be different.
if she does know and they ever talk about it, she will never be able to not call him Hans i bet if she heard his original name was Lee Hansoo. Maybe Aynar will decide that the reason Bjorn hates the name Hans is partially a rejection of who he used to be and acceptance of who he is now haha

Pretty sure he's eventually going to fall into the “they're just NPCs” mindset, considering he already refers to getting Misha back as a sort of Pokémon trade, he doesn't consider Auyen (sailor) as anything more than a useful dog that Amelia takes care of, etc. Amelia is the only one he has the closest relationship with, the only one he confides ANYTHING to, and even she is held beyond arm's length because he won't bring himself to trust her.
She was the first person he was willing to be (relatively) open with, but that switched up quick when she said they should be comrades. Then Hansoo-defensive mode kicked in
I think the situation is rather subtile in the novel, but when reading the manwha it becomes clear how bjorn sees Misha even later when he got feelings for her.

My bet is a mild damage output essence that has some sort of stacking damage effect that compounds wither her clone. Like the [explosive scar] that anyar has but with more focused firepower for single targets. The former village chief has a similar effect but more with regeneration than damage.
Whatever it is, it will definitely synergize with her clone. Bonus damage for each hit on the same target. Bonus damage when hitting from behind. Camouflage or stealth. Allow her clone to have the same equipment she has. All good stuff.
As she is not rlly the Character to have something flashy I would guess she is getting something basic but pretty powerful. Maybe a passive effect that enhances her Aura or gives it more armor penetration (I assume it’s physical not magic damage) & solid stats + maybe a simple Ability like Bjorn his “Swing”She has been falling behind with her power but Ability wise she was always able to survive or deal damage. It would be an simple and effective solution to buff her basic damage to make her more powerful again

I think the simplest explanation for Bjorn being able to speak with the Vamp is that he had its essence at one point right?
