  1. That potion is final arc material. After defeating the final boss Bjorn could levels up and acquire it's essence. Even Lee Barkho wouldnt see that one coming. If they need to fight at the end

  2. My min-max senses are tingling. If soul contact is a skill that just levels you up to lvl 8, then the actual passive skill part is only that you can no longer gain xp. That means you can get the essence to immediately get to level 8, get whatever other essences you need, then assuming you can't remove it, โ€œsealโ€ it permanently with the curse from the chest in the Labrynth. That should theoretically allow you to gain xp again.

    1. Lol, you seal the essence for a limited time inside the labyrinth only. There is no loophole

  3. Point of issue: Bjorn thought level 10 was the max, prior to learning about the hacked version of the game. Why would he know you can gain 10k experience upon reaching level 10, if he didn't know there was anything past it?

    1. He knew about the item because he got it before, but in general it was such a low drop and level 11 wasn't worth the grind. It just happened he got it this time, so I see it like his number shield. It just gives him a better chance to clear.

    2. He said that because that is the normal average level for a character

  4. That essense would have been super good on the sailor/a new supporter in Bjornโ€™s guild.

    1. kind of already is in alot of ways. The guy can turn into a Giant, Scale Covered Barbarian, wielding a Hammer bigger than a House once he grows in size, and can drag you over with a glance, forcing you to watch as you approach the Swing of that great Hammer, before all goes dark. I cant imagine people that happens to could ever think anything other than โ€œMonsterโ€ฆโ€ before their death, not to mention the Erwin Spirit Combo which means Bjorn can be all of that Plus Flame, Water, or Earth, etc, added in!

        1. portals have been used to denote entrances to other spaces, like floors, or between areas on a floor and such, and normally either have disappeared on use, or stayed there for back and forth passage, like we see on the portals between the floor 1 and Basement 1, which vanish, but they then found the portal stone on the Chiefโ€™s island that, while inactive, is always there, and then the floor 1 to floor 2 portals which always remain open once activated, and that anyone can go back and forth through, which we have seen. Rifts meanwhile, are entrances to sealed spaces and on the floors 1-10, were spawning randomly or a condition could be met that allowed manual rift spawning, which bjorn mentions. But once entered, there is no way to leave a rift until the Guardian is defeated, with the guardian being the defining feature and core of the rifts we have been shown so far. and Guardians drop special essences too. Basically, The term rift isnโ€™t to denote the portal you enter, but instead the space you enter, which Will contain a guardian in some manner. So i guess that the readings a portal gives off can be used to indicate the presence of the guardian based on this instance where they say they know its a rift. And tbh, given that we saw the Blood Tinted Castle and Cambormire and found out that it was once a real place in the Empire, combining that with the fact that there were two different guardian rifts in the Ice Cave, with the second featuring the dead body of the first guardian. Makes me think that Rifts, may also be something else, This part is a theory, But i wonder if Rifts are Fragments of History, or a Record Fragment in a sense. Capturing a tiny scene from the past, and replaying it over and over, with the defeat of the guardian being the core of those events. It seemed like that Troll in the ice cave had killed the Ice wolf guardian and taken its cave. that seems like two points in the history of that location, and if so, that could mean theres alot of history to be grasped from them potentially if Bjorn can find the normal versions of each connected rift, and look for connections and infor

    1. i believe hes level 8 but how the story is going we know for sure bjorn is going to be alot stronger than he was in the game considering the fact he got the blessing of the dragon and a god and hes literally finding portals that didnt exist in the game

      1. yeah and the fact that a max level of 30 Does exist along with the newly found basement stuff, makes me think that Bjorn has high potential to actually be able to reach that level. Given that there was this experience potion in this Guardian fight, that means there may still be undiscovered Experience buffs in other guardian rifts and in the basement itself. Not to mention that there is likely another space for floors 6-10 guardians, given that this one is 1-5. And if things are consistent between the two spaces, then there could be another new rift behind the floors 6-10 guardian space, which further adds new experience gain. The potential rift exclusive monsters for all the rifts they havent found normally but now know exist on floors 1-5. The floor lords of the basement are also unknown still, and that is yet more experience sources. Given that Bjorn said you need roughly 14,000 experience to go from level 10 to 11, and that its largely been exponential growth on the amount of experience needed based on the description that Bjorn has given about it all, then its possible that Millions of experience is needed to reach level 30. And if that is the case. Then it makes me think that, as they go deeper into the basement, things are going to start giving more experience, Or, Experience boosts are going to start becoming more common, potentially ones of similar type to the Dreaming Soul mentioned here, where you gain experience upon getting to a set level. Im not sure how Bjorn could find them, but he is the MC, so im sure heโ€™ll find a way

        1. I dont think 30 is realistic, but even getting one more level is pushing his character so much with his knowledge about synergy. And as already mentioned the blessings of two tribes (one is still at โ€œlevel 2โ€ and can be further upgraded) and he can also use the main relic of the barbarian tribe in the future. So only that would put him in place next to auril gavis and the king of he gets the other blessings as well or his teammates then this will be so awesome

          1. fair tbh, no matter what I think Bjorn will get several levels beyond the 11 he got in the game, really just depends on how deep the basement actually goes down beyond this floor, and tbh i forgot that the dragonโ€™s blessing can be leveled up more, so thats another good point. as for the relics, im very curious how those will come into play, and have a feeling that Bjorn will end up with majority of them at some point, Though if i recall, wasnt there that brief mention of the dwarfs during a round table? Where they were trying to create a new genesis relic? That was never really brought up again, but potentially, i wonder if that will be a topic again some point

          2. He never was with the dwarfs besides hikarod so there is a lot to be gained. And yeah basement floor one was a huge boost in power but he just gained a lot of things faster that he would have grinded in the long term there are not so many new monsters that would push him like more then 14k exp. So it realy depends on the next basement floor but if I have to guess he will finish basement floor 1 for now get back to the city make some last preparation and then we will have the war with noark. And after that he can start exploring either the other basementfloors or the higher ones maybe he even has to to unlock the other basement floors. And in the higher floors he will gain is floor lord essence as he mentioned the one he wants is in the higher floors

          3. i think theres alot of potential power hidden within the combo essences, and i know there likely isnt an insane amount of new monsters like you said, but every bit counts over time, and its possible that if hybrid rank 1 monsters exist, they give much more experience than a standard rank 1. the combo essence monsters just seem like they havent been touched on near enough for their overall potential, so i do think there is potentially a ton of experience and power gain to be found with them. We have really only seen the lower to mid tier hybrid monsters, and there are rank 1 monsters in the basement 1, honestly, i wouldnt be surprised if theres a hidden Hybrid Boss somewhere in the basement even, maybe at the bottom of the ocean in a certain spot or at the edge of the map or something. I still wonder whats at the edge of the basement F1 honestly. And yeah, i know bjorn wants to get the essence of a higher floor Floor Lord, but he does have to defeat them all at some point anyway, plus i really think every one has a similar secret condition to meet that gives you their True Boss Fight like Dreadfear, which could unlock the lower basement floors like you mention, or something else. I Do think youre right that Bjorn and Co are gonna leave the basement relatively soonish, and then the War with Noark will start taking the focus, which may lead to us getting some trips outside the walls! Noark has been out there themselves, so whatever they saw or found must have made them want to invade. As for the lower basement floors, i can only imagine theyre going to be just as insane as the Basement F1 has been
