it could also be that the Sky island or whatever it is exactly is connected to the Horse while there is also something down below that the rainbow could open the path to, Since there being seemingly a bottomless pit in the water seems to imply something is down there. and the rainbow would honestly make more sense for the sky island, but we cant discount the possibility that it leads underwater instead. OR the rainbow leads to both, in a one or the other type option. Maybe the pit has something to do with basement floor 2 instead somehow, or maybe its a secret boss at the bottom, theres alot of potential ways it could go
