i cant imagine that this is actually a field on the 7th floor, the reward for the rainbow being a ride to the 7th floor Could make sense i guess, as a way to escape the floor, but then whats the point of the dimensional monument to the 1st floor thats in the village? and Bjorn saying “Strikingly Similar” to me suggests that theses are not the same locations. So to return to the theory about this being a dev zone thats been tossed around several times, could this be a map testing site then? and could there be other fields from other floors that can be accessed in this area as well? Maybe this is another archive that deals with the Fields of the labyrinth, since we have had ones for a good chunk of the Guardians and monsters in general, so there being another for the Fields in the Labyrinth could make sense, maybe theyre gonna be Mob Rushes with all the monsters from a field either in one big rush, or one after another or pre set waves maybe, to give the trial for the fields, or the field trials could be something else i havent thought of also
i know that, that is what i said, one to do with a good chunk of the guardians, since they were floors 1-5, so not all of them, and one with monsters, Im saying that im theorizing that this place could be an archive of some kind relating to the Fields in the Labyrinth, with the main aspect of the labyrinth being the Map testing concept since every archive has seemed to relate to some aspect of the Labyrinth. Im sorry if im missing something, im just not sure what you meant
ohhhh an archive focused on the floor lords? thats a very interesting concept ngl, we dont know anything about the 7th floor Floor Lord, so maybe this field is its normal spawning grounds? and the other fields are the spawning grounds for the other Floor Lords, thats a very fun idea too
they did indeed ride the rainbow blue hand them there skittles so that leaves food for thought what if that big horse is here and is a robot also this is probably not the world that is created by the tower but the original that we are looking at
i hadnt considered that this is the real location instead of the labyrinth one honestly, i was thinking it was the archive relating to Labyrinth Fields, but the secret of the rainbow being a way out to the real world could be really interesting, and maybe since we saw a drone be mentioned, we’re gonna start seeing Robot versions of the monsters!
what i was thinking is there still in the labyrinth this is just a real part of what the 7th floor was based off of but honestly the way you wrote has a higher chance do you think it will switch to different floors by random?
ohhh that could be interesting, a random swap between the fields would be wild to deal with, extremely disorienting. that would be rough on them for sure, though maybe that temple building they saw has some kind of control mechanism to swap the fields also, or its something else entirely! and has nothing to do with the fields
thinking on this more, i dont think random swapping would be likely, mostly cause so far things have aligned with dev zone style stuff, and also the last two archives had alot of control on when the person did what, with the statues and their order and activation both being free to chose whatever order was desired, and similar with the library tower, where they had control over which books they used and which monsters they fought, at least to a degree, they didnt always have fully free choice with the books, but choice existed, so i cant imagine, if this is an archive relating to the Fields, that they would be forced to randomly swap between them, at the very least, they should have some form of choice, either limited to a certain selection like the library did, or full free reign on which field they want, like the Guardian archive did. at least if this area is the Field map testing archive
Lol just missing the pot of gold 😋I was thinking this might be the real location too – Bjorn said the similar region (7th floor) is the only region in the labyrinth with mechanical monsters, and since from what we know all of this world is that it is rather medieval with technology being driven by magic – having fully automated mechanical monsters seems rather out of place (unless they were created with ancient magic).I recon that the original “developers” of the labyrinth may have wanted to automate tasks in their absence, and created “techno golems” to manage this place. Then it became copied when designing the 7th floor. Whatever this place is, I think it’ll uncover more of the mystery of the labyrinth, seeing all the lore dumps we’ve been getting down here in the basement. Also, seeing the difficulty level of even being able to get here (having to make it to this spot and survive rainy season in open water with no escape), I think this might be a special hidden region (like the mirror verse of the 5th floor)
on the idea of this being a special hidden region, could this be a place youre Supposed to go to after all the archives and getting whatever qualifications they give you. Cause Bjorn got that from Hamsiki, and i imagine probably something similar in the rift archive. We know there must be other archives, and the idea has been tossed around that there is 1 per major island, so in theory, maybe this area need those qualifications for something? It does seem like a major section of this floor like you said
I’m not sure it’s anything special to Bjorn per se – I was thinking moreso that ordinary ppl (even Bjorn & clan) wouldn’t have been able to survive the conditions needed to get to this region (ie. survive rainy season on open water with no escape route). Without the royal expedition, it would have been an impossible quest, so whoever designed it this way must have had a reason…
