  1. I really love how far the story has come. In the early chapters there were just a few BETHEL RAHHHโ€˜s in the comments but now people write entire books about their theories and its so satistfying to see some of them come true

  4. Lots of interesting predictions. One of the old members in the round table revealed that the labyrinth feeds on the deaths of the explorers that die, which is why the royal family puts so much emphasis on explorers going into the dungeon. Now that barbarians are dying in mass anymore due to new changes in policies, the Labyrinth is probably hungry.

    1. i covered this point in a lower comment briefly but figure its worth mentioning and expanding on, but we also must question what the Point for feeding on adventurers Is. There are a number of ways that the feeding could be used in theory, such as;-Do these people serve as fuel for the Labyrinth itself to keep up its Operations as Normal? -Does the feeding give the Labyrinth extra power to put out extra things every month when it opens after a reset, but otherwise, even without, the Labyrinth can run as normal?-Or, could the Labyrinth use the humans as materials for creating Mana Stones and Monsters like we saw with the Vampire? It seems to prioritize the use of the Dopplers, regular monsters, and people of the Empire and that Age, but we cant say for certain that the bodies of those Dead arent used in some similar manner somehow.-Theres also the possibility that the Labyrinth can run normally without being Fed, and that the feeding of it is what eventually causes the Dimensional Collapse. As there could potentially be an overflow of Energy and Resources Present in the Labyrinth that causes things to Break and Glitch. We know the Collapse only happens roughly every 40 years or so. Which would Be ALOT of Explorers, and if the Labyrinth WAS the Land of Dawn, as the Witch originally may have intended, there is potentially a chance that people werent suppose to even be going in and out as we see now, and so the deathโ€™s are creating excess energy that eventually, MUST be purged from the system. To Further this specific point, we know that the Portal to and From the Basement opens in a collapse and weโ€™ve been told other things go highwire. If there was an influx of energy at those times from an Overload, then maybe the system is flooding everything with the excess energy, opening all portals for a short time, causing all sorts of Field Effects, and areas to glitch, before eventually calming down once the energy levelโ€™s stabilize to optimal levels after being used in the excessive manner we see during a Collaspe, as a method to Vent that energy essentially. And besides just theses, there are other potential ways that the Labyrinth being โ€œfedโ€ could be interpreted other than just it using those Deaths to exist. Things are rarely that simple in this world, and i think it would be worthwhile to explore the possibilities hidden within

  5. The first time we saw Bifron I came out with the assumption that the citizens were being farmed for some reason. They seem like THE reason Bifron exists . Like a prison just for them. I don't remember why I thought that but coming back here again In left with the same thought.

Noark send to be aware as well as they didn't just kill the citizens. Why wouldn't they? They'd just get in the way. Why wouldn't the royal family? It's not like their ethics would prevent it. The had to be a reason to actively use resources to house โ€œunwantedโ€ people right.

Seems like a running theory is that Raphdonia itself is in the Labrynth but I doubt it. That would mean all the evil spirits were summoned already in the Labrynth. The collapses don't affect that โ€œfloorโ€ and the portals entering the Labrynth are just on a timer for this kingdom floor. It sounds like a basement floor now than anything, but it just wouldnโ€™t feel satisfying if this was a twist. I don't want to get used to another non-labrynth type home base. Then if we do go โ€œoutsideโ€ the dungeon how would we know it was outside again and not just another floor? That would feel bad and break immersion honestly.

  7. Maybe it has something to do with the creation relics and how they said that a crazy amount of blood is needed to be shed in the process or something like that? Idk how Noark would fit in all this but just a thought

    1. Hm.. to me it feels like thereโ€™s something there that the royal dossnโ€™t care for, but also doesnโ€™t want noark to get. Would make sense why they havenโ€™t moved yet then. Minimizing their losses while abandoning what they donโ€™t need. Ruthless but pragmatic

  8. Hmmm, they specifically say that the barrier around the City is Dimensionally Severing. Which is the same wording thats been used for the Barriers in the Labyrinth, and Ive had this thought for a while, but this adds more fuel to this fire.

But what if Raphdonia is technically a part of the Labyrinth, as in, there is a Real version that Raphdonia was based on, potentially from the Empire of Old, and the current Raphdonia was created in the same means as the Labyrinth itself. It contains Portals to other areas, there is time sync with certain parts of the Labyrinth, there is identical Barriers around the City walls that match the ones that seal areas off in the Labyrinth, even as there can be seen actual things and land and places beyond those barriers.

The Barrier in the basement that was identical at the Pantelion Ruins for example, that blocked the temple at first, was stated to be Dimensionally Severing the zones as well, and seemed to act in the exact same manner, and it was able to be bypassed through specific means.

The Barrier around the city can also be bypassed by certain means. We know this cause of Noark. Not to mention that the Races of Raphdonia didnt exist in the days of the Empire, and there is evidence that they were possibly Made in the Basement of the Labyrinth, which ties The people of Raphdonia closer to the Labyrinth as well, and indicates that the Labyrinth clearly existed before the majority of the people who would go on to be the first generation of people to live there. The City itself may have been made first and the Labyrinth later, or Vice versa, but either way, doesnt change that there is very clearly a deep deep connection between the Creation of Raphdonia and the Creation of the Labyrinth.

    1. WAIT. Alternatively, the basement could be time synced with Raphdonia due to being a Dimensionally severed location in the Real World, beyond the walls, and the Basement itself, rather than being somehow lower physically, could be Lower โ€œDimensionallyโ€As in, the normal Floors 1-10, could be considered โ€œHigher Dimensionsโ€ than the base dimension the city resides in, as in, you climb โ€œDimensional Stairsโ€ to access the next floor. And thus, by this logic, if Floor 1 is 1 Dimensional Tier higher than the dimension the City is in, and so on for the other floors, then the dimension the City is in COULD be considered the Floor below Floor 1, Or, the Basement Floor 1. There was also a map for the basement, with an edge, and we didnt see that edge in person, but i would bet money that the edge contains another of the Dimension Severing Barriers weโ€™ve seen, and that, potentially, beyond it would merely be the regular world, or just endless ocean that they cant see beyond. we dont know whats happened beyond the walls to be honest, what drove Noark back to Invade, and if it was something extreme, it could be part of why the water was silver, at least in this specific theoryI will wholey admit this version of this theory is more farfetched, but also its hard to discount any theory with this novel, theres so many layers to the lore. No matter what, i think Raphdonia and its creation is deeply connected to whoever made the Labyrinth itself

      1. Hands down, I think all theories converge with your final point/conclusion tbh – itโ€™s definitely the nexus point. This theory could hold (silver) water if you factor in the time dilation per floor, and that generally more challenging monsters appear the higher the floor, but the when you take the entire orchestration of the labyrinth into factor – how it all resets after a certain period of time, and how it feeds on the lives of explorers, that throws some salt on it. Then again, the basement was an enigma on its own that threw a wrench into all we knew about how the labyrinth worked

    2. Very interesting theoryโ€ฆ maybe in this, raphdonia could be a huge safe zone? Also maybe each part of the labyrinth is just in a separate dimension with different rules on how time flows and suchโ€ฆ which could (partially) explain why the first floor closes after 7 days, and high floors close later (like 60 days on the 6th floor), but all end up at the same spot around the same time when it all closes. That or maybe the labyrinth itself is a rift within a rift?Personally, I took the dimensional separation as being those barriers in a game that canโ€™t be crossed, like how they had in the basement rainbow island (or in the area around the Witch's hut after riakis). Think of it like an invisible (spatial) Gandalf – they couldnโ€™t enter/pass beyond certain areas because of the dimensional barrier/separation. As if the โ€œprotective barrierโ€ wasnโ€™t to keep the Witch's curse from coming in, but to keep raphdonians from going out, since raphdonia survives on the efforts of those inside. Either way, love playing with different theories ๐Ÿ˜

      1. i do think youre correct that video game barriers are what inspired this barrier we are seeing yeah. they seem to act in a very similar manner, and i do enjoy how the author takes standard aspects of games and turns them into plot points in a world that makes them feel so much more mysterious when you dont consider the world those things are in a game anymore. Its honestly a very fun concept to write about. and for sure. I think the barriers are meant to keep things in. But also, since we DO know that those barriers, as shown up to now, almost never are the true End to zones, and merely seal them off, as every instance thats been mentioned has been able to be bypassed Somehow. Meaning that if there are Barriers like this at the end of any Labyrinth Zone, thats a massive indicator that there is more beyond. Which is one reason i think seeing the barriers around the edge of the map of the basement could give tons of info, even if nothing actually happened there, just seeing more instances of these barriers will tell us more and more info.

  9. hmm, what benefit would there be to blowing up Bifron?

    1. i actually predicted that the royals may do something like this a couple chapters ago after Blue mentioned that the Royals dont care about the Bifron people, and this just further pushes that point i think. Noark is doing something in Bifron seemingly, and the Royal family seemingly also knows that they have some plan, and i guess since they dont care about the people in Bifron anyway, theyโ€™re leaving the Bifron citizens there to make things appear normal, so once Noark is all driven or has entered Bifron, then they can just blow it up.Now the means that they will use to Blow Bifron up is still in question. Before i also theorized that there may be a Kill switch implanted into the districts and Sanctuaries, since the ability to Seal off those areas has already been revealed with the Beastman and Barbarian Sanctuaries, so if theres no obvious outside means used, that may confirm the use of a District based Kill Switch where they blow up the entire Sealed Area, OR we will see the Royals roll out a large amount of Mages or other means to Carpet bomb the district instead

      1. i been thinking this the entire time i just think there using all those people as offering to summon a raid boss and the royal family and noark are going to split the rewards but the goat came back on time now the fucked

        1. If they CAN summon a boss of some kind in the City, that will only add fuel to my theory that Raphdonia is a true Part of the Labyrinth, and not a part of the true world that the city technically resides in, or that the Labyrinth is somehow spreading its influence beyond itself potentially also i guess, just thought of that second possibility

          1. i mean its possible we do know people have to die to feed the labyrinth
            0
          2. the question remains at least though, that does that feeding maintain the Labyrinthโ€™s function and allow it to remain As Is. Or does that feeding strengthen the Labyrinth and add more energy to its closed circuit loop, and overall just increasing the labyrinthโ€™s potential. I imagine its to maintain itself As Is will be more likely personallyEDIT: I had some more thoughts on this topic and expanded on the idea in a reply to Trevor, in another comment, where he was talking about this topic as well

        2. What if they are trying to summon not a boss, but Karui? I still feel like something about the labyrinth has Karui at its core, maybe they need him for some other โ€œmiracleโ€?I'm also really curious about the event that cause the royals to abandon the 14th district initially all those years ago. Was it an accident, due to an attack, or something elseโ€ฆ?

      2. my guess is that Noark want to use Bifron as a way to open the city up to the outside world and the royal family wants to prevent that. i also donโ€™t think the outside world is quite safe

      3. That you did, I remember. I also think they want to cover up their tracksโ€ฆ if the Royals really were poisoning bifron peeps in the food, they may still experience effects outside Bifron. Also bifron had ppl the Royals didnโ€™t want interacting with the public, but also who they didnโ€™t want to matyrize.Like you said, it makes it more of a surprise to Noark if they donโ€™t evacuate Bifron, so the Royals can surprise nuke them with no warning, and most certainly Bjorn is going to throw a wrench into this planโ€ฆ lol. This might lead to a sooner clash with the royalsโ€ฆ keep in mind, integrating bifron people could likely cause political problems for the royal family – so this ruthless option would be to end them this way. All depends on how Bjorn plays thisYeah, iโ€™m real curious on how theyโ€™ll bomb it, if they use mages with ancient magic, something that was already there (inspiring further theories), or use knowledge from evil spirits to make a nuke or something
