I always wondered about Sven's intuition but to think it would be Karui in his ears.
It seems all roads definitely do lead to Karui. I wonder if this is like some bet of the Gods, where Reatlas and Karui vie for Sven's soul or something.
I’m also thinking, when Bjorn came back from the other reality and the witch said “you made the same mistake we did…” I wonder if the “choice” she and her companions made way back when involved Karui or his machinations as well. What if the power they all got (the witch, gavis, the king, whoever else) came from Karui and they are currently trying to hold the world together without succumbing to his tricks… or what if the final labyrinth gate releases him into the world?
