true enough, as far as we all may think this kind of chapter boring, there're necessary! IMHO what make a great story is not only the intensity of the action, the emotion that drive you mad but the consistency of the world that make you believe and feel like the characters!
i really hope we get an abridged version, the details of how he met his old wife, how she died tragically and why he care so deeply about his daughter, really don’t fucking matter
Everyone has a story. His will end because he tried to kill the wrong person, wether it was the king or Bjorn. Best case is he dies and it somehow saves his daughter. Worst she gets an even worse fate now
