I wonder if Hans isn't the bad luck name, so much as dealing with someone who shares a name is bad luck. Like, if two James met, would they have the same effect as Hans on Bjorn
Something that confuses me is how a dimensional collapse can transport people to the first floor. They started from the ocean one (6th I think) so the first and second floor had probably long been closed. Then does that mean the explorers are just ejected while the floor stays in existence? I thought the whole labyrinth was completely regenerated/rebuild every time it opened.
If im remembering right the labyrinth closes at the same time realitive to the outside world but not for each floor. each floor has its own start-stop time. If you were on the first floor. I wonโt try and get the number right but a dimension collapse on day whatever of floor 6 might equal day 4 or 5 on floor 1. If your on floor 1 too long, the time passed on higher floors increases. Something like that. They didnโt spend a full 7days on floor 1 so in relation had more time as team climbed higher as long as the labyrinth isnโt closed all floors should be accessibleโฆ.I thinkโฆbut also strange timey-wimey-wormhole stuff lol
Not sure, if I misunderstood you but I would say thatโs not entirely the Case. The First floor closes after (idk the right time) letโs say 24 days. It doesn't matter if you are on the first or 5th floor. After the 24 days its not possible to go back down from the second to the first floor. So while time does move differently than raphdonia time does it would still be the same everywhere in the labyrinth. (Atleast floor 1 to 10, unless some special field effects exist). On that side my theory would be that floor 1 to 10 are the fields the exploration took in the past to kill the floor Lords. The First floor has to close first because the first floor lord is the weakest and need more time to โresetโ the floor or the second option would be that the stronger the floor lord was, the longer they can maintain having โadventuresโ. Even after officially closing the floor itself would still exist & some monsters do as well. There is just no normal way to go there. And I dimensional collapse is definitely not a normal way
I think youre mostly right, though the novel is slightly fuzzy on the specificsโฆ is timing moving at the same rate acroos floors, or are they different rates, but its the portals that try to synchronize the time? If they down to a โclosedโ floor, they get ejecywd from the labyrinth, but when all floors close, everyone arrives at the same time. Very fuzzyI like your theory though, especially in that the labyrinth seems to try to reenact the original events. So much so that I think the hidden pieces are found by closely following along the original events (Assissins Creed style) to get cases like getting poisoned during the Dreadfear battle. Then again, this coukd also be one of those anomoliesโฆ
Exactly like @Cheron said, time passes differently on each floor like a time dilation effect. Time moves quicker on the higher floors, so weeks and months pass by faster for them. This all happens in the span of a day for those outside the labyrinth, so explorers age differently than layman RaphdoniansThe basement was the one exception, as time moved along with Raphdonia
This makes sense but isnโt it as Martin said? The portals to the lower floor closes after x amount of time meaning you can no longer go down. If the explorers can see that the portals close, that means time flows at the same pace.
I dont think its that they cant go down, but if they do they leave the labyrinth (since the floor is closed). It could be correct, or it could be that the portals do some course (temporal) correction?ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ either way, its really interesting that no matter what floor you end on, everyone ends up back at the same time
Well I do not agree because when you climb at 2nd floor on the first Day, spend 6 days upstairs, and then go down to the first floor, you'd only have left โtil the end of the day. That was clearly explain when they manage enter B1โฆ So it's not a โproportionnal stay' Well I do not agree because when you climb at 2nd floor on the first Day, spend 6 days upstairs, and then go down to the first floor, you'd only have left โtil the end of the day.
