So valantis likely isn't that monsters name given there are valantis people that were possibly turned into monsters and it guards a grave. But also have the feeling that baek-hos group is going around setting off every high level mob they can in the hopes it overwhelms bjorn. Definitely something he would plan.
If Bjorns whole crew comes out completely unscathed, I will be honestly a little bummed. It would kind of make me lose some of the immersion in this read. Someone needs to lose an eye or an essence other than Bjorn. Or someone gets sent to the past/future and everyone thinks their dead like Bjorn and Amelia.
The super powerful healing item he took from the statue earlier probably was foreshadowing that one of them will be badly hurt. If the author want to make things difficult, 2 or more could be hurt where Bjorn has to choose who to save
I would agree with you if it weren’t for the fact that he explicitly said in his head that using it for healing isn’t the one stop way to use it. It seems like there is most likely a special effect where if it’s broken or used on a statue/ rift most likely they will be able to can access to like a special floor.
well I feel like we are missing some.. what is the word. exposition? Not sure how to describe it. The Author always tells the point of view from Bjorns part and we are kind of missing information here to judge. Misha is defin. gonna survive, the rest? depends. Maybe they are all together and only Aynar / Misha were split and as soon as we “find” Misha she will probably explain the situation. I think a Death would be a good story wise outcome here but not with the current story that’s been told. Even if it is very realistic that one person just dies without much talk, for a main character that wouldnt fit in the current story writing
