Like this dude has a rank 2 essence, that shit is rare even before the collapse. It would be hard to remember 100% of abilities in the game so maybe his judgement lapsed there. But lowkey he hasnt fumbled like that in the past so kinda odd
He did say he never saw it personally, so he wasn’t able to recognize it. Then again, he did have his suspicions, he just didn’t expect multiple people to be in on it. Well, im quite sure yvela is involved on this… But, you know what? I dont care!! The plot has been sooo boring for the last few chaps, sooo aimless that i couldnt care less… Was about to throw the towel with yesterdays chap having bjorn finding another effing diary (which btw was a nothing burguer).
And now Bjorns plan was so nonsensical, that makes me think (again) that the author doesnt care about quality or retconing himself, at the moment of streching the story by whatever means. Doesnt care about hurting the pacing of the story, character motivations or anything! He knows more chapters is more money… “So lets strech this b*tch until people stops caring about the story and, when no one is reading this thing due to utter boredom, lets put a stop to it in whatever way possible without caring if it makes sense, if it feels rushed or unfullfilling… Who would care at that point!!?” (I trully hope im wrong on this, but there are enough clues to guess that we might get that kind of ending for the story)Seriously… The culprit could have an essence like amelia to clone him/herself, could have plenty of agility and be fast enough to untie him/herself kill everyone (or some) with neck stabs, poison, explosives or whatever, and then run. Bjorn is not a fast runner, damn he says so himself on this chapter…So… What was de fucking plan? leave everyone loosely tied up and leave a ways off, then wait for a few days without changing the hidding spot… Wot???What about sensing skills? no one has any to notice that bjorn is crouching in the bushes like a kid playing hide and seek? Should be pretty comon for few explorers to have skills like that…What about missalining trust? on earlier arcs eeeeveryone had one of those… Heck! even bjorn has one! Which ofc is conveniently discharged, cause dumbo here didnt recharge it when on the city while PREPARING to enter the labyrinth!!!The author just wants to insert this murder/mistery plot without the skill to back it up, because potato!!!GEEZ LOUISE! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!!!
I get what youre saying, but the reason I think all these guys are so timid and no one has any essences, skills, or common sense is because of the dimensional collapse.By Bjorn’s math, like 99% of all elite explorers are now dead. Hes a Viscount, hero, saviour and the noobs want to trust him.As for the rift maker people, well it seems some have a trick up their sleeves that he wasn’t expecting.I agree its been a little boring tho, hoping it picks back up soon
They did mention that misaligned trust was not available on the exchange and we can elaborate on that that the materials necessary to recharge it were unavailable as well.
