id think it could be possible to use on the floor lord, but only in this rift, and only cause its their ally clearly, and i mean, thats an interesting question, would it undo his connection to Karui, or would he be unknowingly still connected? We dont know for sure on that honestly. but honestly, i dont think Bjorn will use it so soon, feel like he would save it for someone he cares about more deeply, most people dont know he has it also, so it would mean revealing it in a way
They’d have to get the priests body first, if that’s even possible, and Bjorn would have to make some revelations. Not sure if he’d go that route if he could, seeing as there’s no guarantee the mage will stay on his side after resurrection
I’m glad they were able to tube the essence – for science. A never before seen essence is a huge find
Also, I really did feel thqt that wasn’t the end of the priest – seeing how the former dark priests operated, it makes sense he could survive that blast. Seems they didn’t get the experience from the Floor Lord – likely either cause he wasn’t an enemy, or he was defeated by an enemy.
I wonder if Bjorn (and chief) will go through the red portal after fighting the priest, but something tells me Chief is soon going to have one less use of the Alter ability, and Bjorn will be on his own.
I think the red portal might actually lead to Karui… or some incarnation of him. However Bjorn, remember curiosity killed the cat… though i’m sure we’re all boarding that rollercoaster vicariously through him 😅 we all want to know more
whats cool about this is when the npcs come back erwin wont be playing the witch it will be the og witch and the wizard will be the og gavis and maybe if the chief dies will will get the og knight character honestly im pretty hyped about this
alright so the evil priest was the finale boss of this floor and also the chief is obviously broken as shit giving him a body that can use aura is a death sentence considering he one shot a evil priest that has unlimited holy power now my guess is when hes goes through the red portal he is going to A meet the witch or B hes going to see the lord of silence that had its memories
given that the Priest was designated as the final boss, i wonder if that role is doomed on entry, Or if its a role thats taken by whoever falls into the temptation, with that role having the highest chance, cause if its a doomed role, then that basically means youd ideally want to bring in a sacrificial pawn for a priest, which is morally shitty, but also, seemingly what the trial is asking for. Also whats the 3rd record, we’ve seen archives, but whats the the Records. Does that mean theres a First Record that hasnt been fulfiled back at the Library tower?
i think if they never brought in a priest then the priest would of been a npc but because they have a actual priest he took that role and im not sure about the records but maybe they didnt what if the condition is to beat every monster in the library or discover all the monsters on the first floor of the basement and maybe the priest is not perma dead he might respond like when he went into the dread fear special thing

Meaning whatever its ability is, could make for a full unique build option. theres mention of that summon ability, Could this essence be the first true sign of a summoner build being possible in Dungeon and Stone? also them getting it test tubed is really cool, i guess this confirms that gahyun could access his subspace and items in this rift.
Plus its a rainbow essence which means it has all the active abilities, not just one. Btw we already have summoners – the Dwarven summoner from Ice Rock expedition, and Amelia with her clone summoner. I don’t count Corpse Collector since the bodies are more like items from storage, but this sounds like it would be a neat essence for him.
ah youre right, i forgot about those summoners, then maybe this opens a new summoner archetype, its a spirit knight right? maybe its based on souls collected, and can be used to somehow create Spirit Knights from actual people with some of their abilities intact, instead of just monsters like what we’ve seen from corpse collector, who more just makes zombies and such and theyre not unique creatures, just quantity, maybe this is more of a quality based summoner
Yeah, so Chief really is playing as himself, the Great Knight of the past, Hero Brungrid, since this vague line of '“Can you really use the abilities from when you were alive?” and the “The knights of this era are just a complete mess”. I wonder how it feels to him personally to revisit the stories of the long forgotten past several lifetimes ago from the age now only set as records in stone.

Nah, it isn't. We clearly know Brungrid has been in The Great Sage's team in those ancient times. What is happening right now is the replay of those events, where… surprise-surprise… The Great Sage is one of the main characters! So, naturally, one of his allies, who just so happened to be able to use the sword and know ways to Aura of the ancient, would probably be The Brungrid himself.
I’m with you, the evidence suggests that much, but I wouldn’t be disappointed if it turned out not to be. TBF we don’t know exactly when Brungrid joined the Sage's crew, so I’d say it’s still more of a theory with high probability, like how Ravien (dragonlady) is an evil spirit from the original round table, or how Hyun-Byeol (aka BlackStar) is the Black mask.
If the community was still open, he could have used that as an excuse, too bad…Though part of me feels like it’s something you gotta learn hands on rather than aa second hand knowledge. Then again, Amelia is pretty much a genius, so maybe she could
from this, it feels like aura has the potential to be shaped into abilities similar to essence abilities. There may be alot of potential for aura overall thats gonna mostly untapped. I wonder if theres a way to imbue elements into your own personal aura without an essence doing so?
