Given how important movement is in pretty much every rogue like and even more so irl, I have no idea how a 40% strength increase at the cost of moving 1/5 your original speed is anything but complete dogshit. Saw the exact reason for that in this episode. His other weapon already gives a 500% damage bonus. Seems a bit bigger than 40.This item is not good unless there is something Iโm missing, maybe around strength cutoffs just like the resistance.
Sorry for yapping, the words just kept coming outPersonally I feel like it’s hard to visualize a decrease in speed leading to an increase in strength, especially with F = maยฒ, but ignoring that, on a Strength focused character, the total stat gain would be much better, like say a character with 1000 Strength and only like 200 agility, they’d gain 40% Strength but lose 80% Agility, ending up gaining 400 strength and losing only 160 agility, it’s a damn brutal ratio but if it’s a dump stat, who cares at the end of the day lol, as for Kraul’s Demon Crusher, the 500% boost only works on Blunt Attack Skills, so if he can’t use Swing but he needs damage, he could get some use out of 687, or hell, maybe we’ll get to see Barbarian Berserker Form, where he wields Siege Slaughterer in his off-hand while throwing out Swings with Kraul’s Demon Crusher, though I can’t imagine it being usable on anything but an immobile/crippled target considering his teammates were not only able to react to his Swing, but we’re even able to get out a full “why are you moving so slow?” before his attack was finished. He’s unlocked a new finishing move I guess
It seems like Baekho is trying to create a crew that matches with Bjornโs ideal builds for clearing the tenth floor (headhunting Misha, Aures, an archer/scout, a mage with incredible firepower and knowledge, and a high level support priest) and the thinking back to the Marquisโs condition for gaining the royal familyโs support even as an evil spirit, I wonder if theyโre going to come to blows at the end as they keep clashing over the desire to gain valuable loot for their respective tanks/deprive the other of that loot, or will they pull another power grab like with Jerome and the village chief? Or will Erwin in a murderous rage coming to โrescueโ Bjorn with and or without the rest of their crew interrupt this?
You might be onto somethibg about the ideal crew, though I think it would be Baek Ho's ideal. Maybe that 6th spot was initially reserved for Bjorn?I think Bjorn would have def preferred members of other races on top of mages, and a proper healer for his full tank build
Theres something to be said for Baekho clearly having a similar grasp of strategy and game mechanics to Hansoo, either from ghostbusters or reading whatever elfnunnaโs strategy guide actually was, or the modded version giving him the ability to more easily play with different builds. I think he and Bjorn probably have similar ideas of what the most important builds are for clearing the tenth floor, and Bjorn probably would have gotten a 6th slot if not for Misha being there. I think the difference is that Baekho is building a team prioritizing offensive power, Bjorn is building a team for survivability in all situations. Thereโs as much overlap as there is difference in what those builds would look like, and im always exicted for crunchy character builds and how they interact with the personality of the builder
run for sure, they each have a sealed essence right now, and theres only a small group, and this monster is stated to need at least level 9 for everyone and 10 is better, and so far, it seems only Baek Hoo is level 10, meaning that they have absolutely zero chance of surviving if they try and fight it
i think it depends on the bonus . since rank 10 normally is the max i think that the game will give a huge power up . imo our boy could 1v1 him not only at rank 9 but with a floor boss essence too minimum
Say what you want about the story, but the fight scenes are still

what do you guys think, will they defeat the rank 1 monster or run away?
Heh, Bjorn suffers from anxiety due to his own luck.
Just when Bjorn thinks he has an advantage over baekho he gets a reality checkโฆ first from the floor lord essense and now by the rank of baekho ๐ญ
Still, I think a rank 9 Bjorn would have a good chance at beating him.
