  1. Math still not mathing. 40% more strength (guessing damage) and double damage is about 300% more overall damage if the monster has above 90% health. But youโ€™ve destroyed your mobility. The other weapon is a 500% no downside boost to blunt damage and a higher tier item so guessing it comes with better base stats too. Can the author please explain how this new hammer is his dps weapon a bit better. Because as far as I can tell, it conditionally does a bit more than half the damage while most of the time doing around a fourth and comes with a serious penalty to arguably the most important survival stat, the ability toDOOOOOOOOOOODGEand also react and block I guess.

  3. so we know the spell is incomplete, But the range was still increased, so does that mean their locations can be randomized to that same extreme distance? and if so. Is it possible that some of them could be teleported into the Grey? Cause its random, and we dont know what happens if you try and enter it, much less teleport into it. I imagine Bjorn likely wont be sent into the Grey himself, but wonder about the others.

Knowing Bjornโ€™s luck, he will be teleported a step outside the grey, with it directly behind him or directly in front of him, depending on which way he ends up facing, and he will only barely avoid entering it on accident

    1. Could also yeet them throughout time. We don't know when / where they are and it not been the same reference time period as rafdonia proper is on the table. At the very least yeah random positions through 10x'd distance. If we're been real about it in terms of rng, bjorn teleported 5km up into the sky, fell and died, baekho teleported 9km down into the ground, died, etc etc but for story purposes we are definitely splitting the party so we don't confirm how dead / alive baekho's party is.

  4. Soโ€ฆ looks like theyโ€™re going to be scattered, like entering a portal without a binding spellโ€ฆ not good for Jayna, she needs some medical attention asap

Baek Ho being ready to ditch his team once again shows the contrast b/w Bjorn and Baek Ho, even though in desperation, Bjorn reluctantly considered it belatedly as an option, albeit a sulky one. (Then again, they werenโ€™t his comrades – heโ€™d never abandon his own like that)

Bjorn's subspace trick is a neat touch, and a crafty way to get around the movement restriction. Iโ€™d like to see it in combo with Erwin's wind barbarian mode and see if that increases his speed.

Ruin Scholar is a beast to have over 1000 base MP. If it werenโ€™t for that, theyโ€™d be stuck, exhausted, and at the mercy of the bone dragon

Speaking of, this homie not only spoke, but also said I'm not finished with youโ€ฆ after they shattered his leg. Going back to reread, there are little tidbits through the chapter that hint at the dragon's intelligence, but we can only clue in at the end. I wonder if conversation would have been an option at point (sorry mr. Dragon, didn't meant to hurt youโ€ฆ can we be friends?)

    1. Bjorns subspace trick is also D&D legal, move -> equip weapon -> Bonk -> Sheathe weaponHonestly not the most hopeful for a chat with the dragon since the dragon started the fight.

    2. I'm hoping the contrast between bjorn and his foil will actually have real life conflicts. It would be funny if Bjorn steals some of Baekhoโ€™s comrades because of them. He needs a priest and this is a great opportunity to steal his. If he happens to bump into her dying by herself in the Labrynth and refuses to abandon her, that might just seal the deal. It seems like that's the reason the author decided to separate them like this.

      1. I don't think we'll be stealing the karui priestess unless there's a way to un-oath her

        1. Pretty sure death is the only escape from Karui, but maybe Hansoo might know a way

      2. Also wouldnโ€™t hurt to have another full tank for the clan, and Aures would get along swimmingly with Aynar. Leyton also seems rather capable too

  5. My butthole puckered up when he talked. I can only imagine what they felt like. Pretty sure some of Baekhoโ€™s party members are dead now.

  7. Actually it would make sense that the โ€œreal?โ€ True Dragon would be able to talk and have knowledge that the โ€œsimulated dungeonโ€ rank 1 dragon wouldnโ€™t have/be able to use, because it can actually think/ignore aggro and also remember that the whole reason we are here is because (speculated) a โ€œrealโ€ spider mimic adventurer/noark coward found its way out of the portal and TALKED and tricked bjornโ€™s party into teleporting to this โ€œreal 9th floor chunkโ€(sorry if that information is NOT CONFIRMED)

Edit: now that I think about it maybe the โ€œreal intelligenceโ€ is also why the tier 1 monster in the dream sea also didnโ€™t blindly follow (speculated because bjorn and han-soo were surprised by it not following) and stayed behind to SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED โ€˜GUARDโ€™ that area. WAIT WAIT I just realized that the tier 1 monster in the dream sea SPEFICALLY DID NOT ATTACK? unless iโ€™m misremebering from like 30 min ago because I THINK all it did, was call all the monsters awake and chase them. The reason I say this is because Han-soo specifically said he got roughed up by the awakened monsters, NOT the tier 1 monster attacking, right??? (also I think they would have specifically mentioned dealing with the tier 1 BOSS monster attacks, because of how potent they are, right???)because all that was said to have happened was them grabbing bjorn and running, and all they dealt with additionally, was the field effect of falling asleep right??? ( but also bjorn specifically said he ignored the โ€œheroic stuffโ€ of his story BUT it is very weird that there is no mention of the AREA BOSSโ€™s actual attacks being thrown at them, like it wouldnโ€™t have surprised me if without the tank/bjorn and han-soo being injured there wasnโ€™t at least one, one hit insta-kill of any/multiple party members while running away)

also sorry for the quadrupled comment size in the edit and I guess also for not putting this in that chapterโ€™s comment section.(Also this is my first real comment after being here and reading daily since under chapter 200/starting before the stgaab manhwa S1 ended, lol)

Another Edit: Ok so Iโ€™m an idiot because my edit about the AREA BOSS because it was %100 addressed Here: (sorry for my bad reading comprehension and memory)(And this is the exact text this was addressed in)

    It sounded too convenient.

Even if the mages had burned through all their mana to activate the shipโ€™s defensive runes, surviving long enough to escape a rank-one โ€˜special bossโ€™ like Draizen was hard to believe.

And the fact that โ€œwe just escaped somehowโ€ was even more suspicious.

โ€œI know, it sounds weird to me too,โ€ Baek-ho said. โ€œBut thatโ€™s really what happened. We just kept running, and it stopped chasing us. Even when it attacked the ship, it only kinda poked at us.โ€

Baek-hoโ€™s account of the Draizenโ€™s behavior didnโ€™t sit right with me. That creature just wasnโ€™t supposed to be that docile.

But, since he says so, Iโ€™ll let it pass for nowโ€ฆ

    1. It seems like the labrynth deprives these beings of their intellect and spikes aggression, but some monsters are also naturally aggressive or have territories that they guard, but let people fleeing flee is totally a reasonable thing for a nesting animal to do to keep its brood safe, or for a magically compelled guardian monster, or for a big monster not interested in five small prey who are using magic and powerful skills

      1. Yeah, I guess that makes sense, but how I was thinking at the time was something like how in the labyrinth sometimes there were the โ€œnamedโ€ conscientious bosses. and maybe some RANK 1 area bosses here were intelligent (and maybe the other dream boss could also talk?) but also the true bone dragon here could have also been a โ€œnamedโ€ boss. because this is the only time (I think) that there was a talking boss/monster? (i can only think of like the mimics from the forest and of course the duke vampire(and of course the other named bosses))
