I'm glad I waited for the results of the competition before I took my break. It looks like I was right about him making apartment buildings which even Kittens agreed is where the money is at. The biggest problem being that it's obviously other worldly knowledge. I suspect most people are going to assume it's his minister that is in love with Rotmiller (forgot her name) and the nobles might put the blame on her since Bjorn already said it was her idea. If the author even cares about continuity anymore, she'd have to suffer for Bjorn's incompetence.
After stopping reading this for a few chapter, and coming back now, I realized the author missed a good chance to wrap up the previous arc quite nicely.
He should've let Bjorn marry Ragna, and then write chapters where the Marquis try to keep him on check and Bjorn outwits him, etc.
That battle of wits would have fitted more than whatever it's happening now.
I mean, aren't we getting a chapter focused only on Bjorn because the author doesn't know what to write for the other characters' POV? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
I like Bjorn, but focusing on every little thing Bjorn is doing instead of giving the others more screentime it's hurting my enjoyment of this 🥲
So bjorn brings out his “IKEA" knowgledge and no one in raphdonia raises an eyebrow… neither the evil spirits which should find this designs to be out of place on this world and somewhat similar to what they know from their own…
I wonder what the lame excuse the author is gonna come up with… he might push the credit to someone else, like last time with shabin and the “lets get rich" plan, or something stupid like saying that the concept appeared to him on a dream…
And yeah itll work… we already know that Bjorn is gonna plot contrive his way out of every situation at this point…

we have to remember that its known to several evil spirits that Bjorn has someone on his side from earth, no one suspects him, but at the round table, there were comments that someone in his circle is a Spirit, so if they notice, it could be explained as being sourced from the unknown spirit in his group
i realize that, my comment is in relation to other evil spirits realizing he is also a spirit, and given comments we got in the community before it closed, implies that while he isnt suspected, there must be a spirit within his group, which there actually is, Versil. Blue’s comment mentioned that the other spirits may suspect him for building an apartment complex, but given they already think theres someone else in his group who is a spirit, that suspicison will likely turn towards the suspected spirit in his group, rather than Bjorn himself. So while the royals dont care and do know, the other evil spirits likely would care.
That is true, and with Bjorn's current political and physical power, few would be brazen enough to explore which member that might be. Unless it’s someone much higher up, or someone with nothing to lose
Hm… is this a Noark-based assassination attempt, or perhaps one of the Marquis’ rivals? My money is on the former.
Also love how both the Marquis and Bjorn are jointly surprised at the fact that he saved his life. The Marquis probably saw Bjorn as the thorn in his side, and figured Bjorn felt the same about him, especially after the harsh rebuff last chapter.
I wonder if any of the evil spirits might recognize Bjorn's modern design for condos. Then again, Bjorn can say he got the idea from reading books or talking with numerous people.
Lastly, that magic spell must have been really powerful for it to be reduced by 50% effectiveness and reduced even further by Bjorn's resistances, and still cause some real pain. Who could be the mystery assassin? Find out next time on… Dragon Ball B… (B for barbarian of course)
well both could easily get to the conclusión that for bjorn getting the contact Marquis needs to be alive… so it shouldn’t be that surprising…sigh miss the days when the story was interesting…
